My daughter died in 1996 after a long stay in I.C.U. This was her favorite song. She was a single mom of two and only 39. Her tombstone says "One Sweet Day". I listen to Mariah on my phone. Powerful song that brings tears. Helen O'Boyle.

My foster dad passed away last year at 104 I cried also I cannot stop thinking of how selfish I was to cried because he lived a full life until he lost a limb at 102 and his will to live was never the same....I love you Daddy Douglas Haigue James❤❤

My husband died in June 2023 and then my dad died in August 2023. I was walking yesterday and this song came on, and it brought me to uncontrollable tears. My heart broke when I heard it, but it also made me reflect on both my husband and my father for the rest of the day, and I know that one sweet day, I will see them both again. Until then, I feel them shining down on me. That feels good.

I lost my friend last week to suicide, simply because he didn’t feel “accomplished” enough. 27 years old with such a bright future ahead of him - please check in on your friends and enjoy every moment.
