I would listen to the original version exactly last year towards the end of a toxic long term relationship. Song described my thoughts/feelings at the time, I went insane after he left after he manipulated and abused me for years. Thankfully , probably one of the best things to happen. I’ve grown a lot as a person and I’m not so quick to trust anybody anymore. I’m happier now! And finally free from that mess lol. Took me around 6-8 months to fully get that out of my system.

At one point Mariah had like two vocals singing at once while Krayzie has like three vocals going, Layzie had a vocal going and it didn't sound crowded. It sounded perfect and so melodic!
