Global icon Mariah Carey discusses her new holiday song “Fall In Love at Christmas” with Kirk Franklin and Khalid. MC remembers receiving her FIRST plaque, The Butterfly Lounge, her brand new holiday special called “Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues” debuting on Apple TV + December 3rd.
Mariah Carey Is working on a film adaption with Lee Daniels based on her memoir “The Meaning of Mariah Carey” which is a New York Times Best Seller. MC reflects on a time she out ran her security with Cam’ron and how that scene will be in her film. MC shares her love and thoughts on Colin Kaepernick’s new show “Colin in Black and White” on Netflix, possibly working on a beauty line, and being a proud mom. MC addresses a bar that recently banned her hit song “All I Want For Christmas is You” from being played before Dec 1 and her brand new holiday store MariahCarey.com

Love how the last few years, Mariah’s been doing really good interviews, like the one at Genius, Apple, the one with Naomi, Misty, etc. The interviewers do their job really well thus make Mariah more comfortable to converse with them.

I think that’s the beauty of being in the business for a while, you just go to the outlets you know will handle you properly or you request time with the interviewers who asked meaningful questions last time. Mariah’s been unnecessarily torn down by the press throughout her career, she doesn’t need to gift her time to outlets who don’t respect her.

Can't wait to find out what all of the surprises are. I wonder if Miss Monroe recorded a song for Someone's Ugly Daughter. It seems like maybe she and Millie Bobby Brown may have done tracks hopefully along with Mariah's originals. Can't wait to hear the "bunch of songs" from The Butterfly Lounge. Can't wait for Masterclass. 2022 will be a great year for lambs.

If she is saying its something people have asked her to do for years I think it will be either a full gospel or jazz album. I can see gospel especially because we haven't gotten the Clark Sisters collaboration that she was confirmed to have done. People have also said she has a good voice for a jazz album and should do one, i can see either situation.
