Her voice isn't the same but come on now.... Who's voice is THIS good?!?! I could go into what makes her voice above the others...but nah imma just say Mariah Carey is/was the greatest vocalist I've ever heard. And the fact that she has vocal nodules and managed to sing around them BEAUTIFULLY the way she does she deserves way more credit than she receives.
No she is not like she was in her 20s , most singers aren't thats been doing as long. She also has nodules which why sone days she has issues when the nodules act up shes going sound tired and cracking . When shes rested she slays. She still sound better than most these autotune to death singers . Mariah , Whithey ,Celine are still the best vocalist in the last 30 years . She still is beast just catch her on days she's well rested .
