The90sAreTheBest I believe 1996 is where Mariah's voice was at its most flexible. She sung many F#5's and G5's in that specific year. Did she sing 3 G5's in Tokyo Dome? Because she has 3 dates in Japan.
XO B2B She always belted a G5 in Hero though(Daydream World Tour). Plus her earlier performances in the tour were better than the last(maybe because she felt tired).
Mariah Carey gave her all WOW.. Her voice was unmatchable. She set the standard So High. This is why I get upset when folks talk about her today comparing her with other artist. Their is no comparison. Most have no melody just a big loud voice hitting high notes. Don't forget melody is what makes a song. Your voice has to match the song. She is a true vocalist. GOD gave us Mariah please appreciate her while she is on this earth....
I *LOVE* the Daydream vocals! This era contains vocal agility and effortlessly belting that is still unmatched to this day. Her confidence on stage, her look, her sound and etc is just unbelievable to watch. This is such a flawless video! I love that you used the undubbed (& more emotive) videos of her.
Omg yaaaaasssss!!!! This is why she's queen Mimi! Lol one of my fav concerts from her, this concert contains her best Make It Happen and Without You performances ever!!!! The resonance, clarity and agility throughout her entire range is forever unmatched! SSSSLLLLAAAYYYY!!!! Lol thanks for making this video boo you did an excellent job!!! :)
It honestly seems like there was 10 years between 1996 and 1997 in terms of Mariah's voice, style, appearance, and even mannerisms. Like she was 20 in 1996 and 30 in 1997.
