I think she wasn't sure how it would come out so she pulled it away and since Aretha's mic was far more closer than Mariah's it drowned out what was picked up from the mic
@@DaydreamCarey1234 She is literally going harder with her vocals that night then she ever did post prime. She even pulled away her mic because she wasn't sure she would hit the note or not. During Testimony when she tried to follow those "Jesus" belts Aretha did, she her throat nearly exploded and she even shook her own head in disappointment. She was huffing and puffing as hard as she could and had the nerve to call Celine disrespectful lol. She tried hard to gaslight people into thinking Celine disrespected Aretha when Aretha clearly wanted Celine to do what she did. "Would you help me lift him, HELP ME LIFT HIM!" "YESSS!! I"M LOVING IT!" All this she chanted at Celine and Mariah clearly heard and saw that. Basically Mariah was just bitter Celine outshined her majorly that night lol.
Her voice is really drowned, let alone her pulling away that mic made even her voice almost un-hearable. I don't know why she always have to put her mouth away from the mic when hitting high notes. She did the same thing during the butterfly SNL live performance.

All this trouble to dig out a note she barely touched and wasn't even sure of hence pulling the mic away, whereas Aretha and Celine were firing F#5's at each other in abundance the same night🤣. No wonder Mariah was so bitter 😆
@@greedybutera2888 Well it's Mariah who wrote that Memoir trying hard to diss Celine after more than 20 years later which doesn't include the other countless times she attacked Celine regarding this night...while Celine has never responded in a negative way towards Mariah, so guess the bitter one is Mariah and her lambs 🤣🤣. Mariah's lipping will always be relevant of course 😌
