Girl you hit the nail on the head!!! This thing about Mariah's shade is......it has never been to those who paved the way for her! Even in moments where she was shaded (Aretha) she knew to just smile and nod!! There are LEVELS to this!! The shade she throws...she's earned the right to throw. The only person older than her that she ever shaded was Madonna. But that's not really the same. Demi was speaking on a situation she knows nothing about. Your opinion is invalid when you have no idea what you're talking about.

To clear up some confusion and fill you with some context: -In the interview about Madonna, the interviewer said to Mariah that Madonna said she'd 'rather kill herself than be Mariah'. -There is SO much TEA behind the feud of Mariah and a lot of other singers in the music industry with Jennifer, there are a lot of videos about it. I won't spoil the tea for you though! 😂 -But Mariah was annoyed with Demi because she said that with taking into consideration or knowing what Jennifer did to Mariah's career, so many others too! Hopefully this helps. 😅 Keep up the hard work!! P.S. Your laugh had me on the floor. 🤣🤣

Oh, so the J.Lo thing (I don't know her) has some drama with Mariah's ex-husband, Tommy, positioning J.Lo as a Mariah "replacement" and even stole song ideas and samples from Mariah during the Glitter soundtrack creation. That was a really tough time. There is a video about it, but it's too long for a reaction I think. Just wanted to let you know that there are some biscuits to go with that tea. Lol.

Also Mariah was very frustrated cause Jennifer wasn't even singing in a lot of the songs. She used full vocals from girls that made a reference track for her. If you hear the demo from Jenny From The Block you can clearly see that they used the girl's voice in the finished product. There's a whole video about Jennifer stealing songs, samples and vocals from BLACK girls. They really tried to make her happen don't matter what. All of that cause Mariah's ABUSIVE ex wanted to end her career.

Madonna threw shade at Mariah first. She said in an interview that she’d rather be a dumb girl a not be Mariah Carey. Hence Mariah’s answers about Madonna Jennifer Lopez is 1 year older than Mariah.. she wasn’t 17 when she became famous in 1999 (she was 30). Mariah hated being compared to JLO bc Jennifer wasn’t the best vocalist or wrote her own stuff

The Grammy's snubbed Mariah of all her nominations in 1996 for her classic album Daydream. She received no awards. She has 5 grammy's but she should really have about 10 or 11 in all honesty. So Mariah definitely does not deal with the Grammy Awards unless they're paying her for a performance or giving her an award.
