I’m saying. What I love most about this is that it actually sounds like a duet that took place. Faith and Mariah’s tones already complement each other; the arrangement is so balanced.
Ever since Mariah actually sang that little tidbit back in the nineties, I've wanted to hear what she would have sounded like had she kept singing the song instead of stopping when she did. Great AI cover, great job! Edit: Honestly, this might actually be one of the most realistic AI Mariah covers I've ever come across.
I went back and listened to the original version by Faith Evans and compared it to this - the amount of power AI added with Mariah’s version at the end of the bridge versus what Faith did is incredible. Like, it knew that Mariah would’ve made it a “full voice” belt!
@@todaysagoodday1862 this is literally perfection. I can’t believe my ears. And I’m against AI. BUT WOAH. My fav singer in one of my fav songs by my other fav singer?!?!
Whitney Houston and Faith Evans tones set the bar, Listen to how soft and sultry Faith's version of Soon As I Get Home sounds. This AI version sounds great too
Al will always tell you who really was doing some real sanging on the record. Faiths vocals ATE. Mariah's tone over Faith's choices is so pleasant to the ear.
@@todaysagoodday1862I thought copyright only applies to the original song. It's technically not fully Faiths voice 😂. It's like when they can't copyright strike a song when you make it sound like a chipmunk lol
This really is amazing, I haven’t stopped listening to it. I really wish Mariah would just let lose with her vocals like this. Ironically this is one of my favourite vocals from her lol. She’s too much of a perfectionist for her own good… in my opinion, I don’t give a shit if the vocal performance isn’t perfect in every single way, as long as it’s performed with passion then that’s all that matters. The vocals here sound like she’s crying out which conveys the emotions so well. I really wish Mariah would just stop restricting herself and belt out the way she knows she can… I’ve always thought to myself, the best Mariah vocals are the ones we don’t hear, the ones where she’s just singing to herself or belting out in the bathroom or something lol. Oh how I wish I could hear that
I am not going to talk about back vocals but Mariah's vocals is exactly 1997 Butterfly era, even the song itself. These beltings can not be real. What the hell?! If the backing vocals were same as Mariah's one, I would be in extreme shock.
Incredible...Faith killed this song when it first came out but this AI version with Mariah is fire. Now, this is the reason so many are against AI. Can you imagine a whole album of covers under the pretense that Artist A did the actual vocals but to find out later it was AI.
Legendary song already but adding Mariah-ish sound to the mix really reignited my love for it. What an incredible song..... and can we talk about that "Soon as I get home" chorus... sounds exactly like Mariah when she sang it live.
OMG THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS! ♥ there used to be another AI MC cover of this song and for some reason it disappeared. this song just fits perfectly with her voice 😍
I wish she would have kept this on the Butterfly album, it would have really complimented songs like Fourth of July, Babydoll and Breakdown. I blame Tommy Mottola 🤭🤭🤭🤭
This make me think that mariah uses engineered voice by her voice itself in late 90's. Because whenever i watched singing her live, i didn't really heard any perfect riff and runs same as in studio. Mariah raw voice is dry airy with husky deep voice like it easy to crack when trying hitting any key of 5 octave register. In short, before ai there is engineered voice
