This is the best overall we’ve seen Mariah since the 90’s! Her voice, spirit, comfortability, her entire aura is emitting beauty!! Everything is there!!
This is the show I have wanted from Mariah for so long. No dancing, no gimmicks. Just her with a microphone, looking beautiful and telling stories and singing her heart out. This is fantastic!
Speaking of timelessness, I really wish Mariah and Celine would put their differences aside a little and make up to record something together before they die. It would be eternal! For real! ❤
I think with her recent illness Celine isn’t currently able to sing. Hoping the effects are temporary but she’s got a disorder called like SPS or something

I don't know what she did, but I can't tell anymore when she is lipping. Mind boggling. Perfect sync to the point it is obviously live, but then some lack of tension in certain parts. Oh god, she is literally the best.
I don't see her coming back to Germany unless it's for a world tour (it's sadly very unlikely that she would ever do one again). If she for whatever reason would come back though, I'd be the first one to buy tickets😂🙌
I love Mariah!! I heard this story before she tells it in her book...she sounds just like her Areatha voice....she has a picture of Her and Areatha up in her house...She really respected her!! Love you Mariah!!! I always will!! You sound amazing here!!!!!❤
It definitely is live because her tone singing sounded so much like the mood and tone she was using to talk and she has different ones. I loved her story it was funny.
I saw her live, a few feet away, her voice is incredible live, i could literally hear the vibrato hit the microphone and she looked phenomenal live, like really goodlooking
Singers understandably HATE the A/C, but it's on because of the intense tv lighting setup. Without the A/C, the lights can get too hot & the talent can start to visibly sweat on camera which producers try to avoid.
Thank you lambily for sharing this videos, it gives lambs like me who can't be there a peek into her concerts. I like that she's going for more range in this show. Mariah has the best songs and they gives me the feels the why she sings them.
Well no, if you sing on a closed mic, the neck tension totally appears. She is singing though with an open mic but her sung vocals are blended into pre-recorded ones. If you focus on the La da da ta dah’s from Close my eyes, it’s pretty noticeable.
Really I don't think so . I don't think she's capable of that light loving tone like the song itself has. Is there any songs she's sung that have a similar theme/tone?

As a lamb i’m so happy to see her look so happy and be more care to her voice, even she use a lot of playback i don’t give any shit bcs it’s still her voice. Get off haters, bcs Mariah is always be Mariah, and fyi singer of this generation using a lot of playback from the day one of their career so why Mariah can’t use it now after she prove the WORLD THAT SHE THE BEST SINGER ALL OF TIME WITH HER LONGEVITY CAREER 🎉
They reason Aretha Franklin doesn't prefer to rehearse is because she never sings a song the same way twice. If you watch some for her performances with her backups it's the same way. Professionals in the recording industry know this. That's why her scenes from Blues as brothers movies were done in one take. FYI.

I laugh everytime she performs Dreamlover because I always think of the hot air balloon Mariah was in (for the music video) floating away with just her in it alone, ultimately going up before eventually landing in a swamp. She tells the story really well, but some of it was actually caught on camera. Cracks me up everytime!

Ok someone read the comments from the first shows. There are definite live vocal moments here. Not all but some. They’re using a technology that blends the actual live vocal with pre recorded ones. All in all this is way better the zombie vibe of the first shows.
Agreed! I actually attended night 2. It was great! I know she always has nerves the first few shows. I'm even more excited to see her relaxing and having some fun. The past few years have not the best for her career but I'm glad that she still wants to sing, she is open to adapting to technology as well changing arrangements, and, overall, just being at piece. I LOVE seeing her smile!

@@alexd1121 You're welcome. I had a wonderful time. If anybody is in the area I do encourage them to attend the show. It was a great time and it was nice that she revisited some of the more obscure, less popular tracks.
@@eli-db9ct i want to believe it as well..her voice is that unpredictable but at this point, she lipped 99,9% ..and lambs will be giving excuses like "she's bipolar, menopausal, her nodules are acting up, etc " and look at her now..she lip the entire show because we defend her. I get it she's a business woman. She needs to do things to stay relevant. But, this is borderline lazy i suppose

For a while, I thought she was actually singing live until 5:29 gave her away. After the whistle, she was late in lipping 'Got me...' and only caught 'feeling.' But, I still love her music.
