Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 has reawakened old fears of nuclear weapons and questions of deterrence and compellence. During our annual conference Czech Security Forum 2023, the topic of nuclear weapons was highly discussed. Mariana Budjeryn and Mark Galeotti provided their points of view on what should be the response from NATO to nuclear threats coming from Russia.
