So I went to thinking. I was wondering why these guys have less views than a lot of artists I thought were of the same popularity level, or less popular. Then I realized, I'm Canadian....they're Canadian....Canadian radios need to spam Canadian content....OOOOOH so they're waaaaaaaaaay more known here than the states..makes sense. (Shout out to all my Canadian Trenchheads!)
I told you, Josh. Don't break up with your girlfriend in the middle of an artillery live fire range. You'll regret it. But no! You said that it would make for a "cool guys don't react to explosions" scene.
I HAVE LITERALLY BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG SINCE I WAS LIKE 11 YEARS OLD OR SOMETHING IM *19* NOW I LITERALLY HEARD THE CHORUS IN SOME NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC OR DISCOVERY SCIENCE COMMERCIAL AND TRIED TUNE SEARCHES FOR YEARS AND HOLY CRAP I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. TODAY IS A MIRACLE. FOUND AFTER ALMOST THE DECADE THAT IT’S BEEN AROUND. THERE LITERALLY HASN’T BEEN A SINGLE YEAR I DID NOT THUNK ABOUT IT AND COULDN’T PLACE MY FINGER ON THE LYRICS. I LITERALLY CAN’T COMPREHEND RIGHT NOW
@@sabrinapederson6273 heh, believe it or not just an hour or two ago I played the song for my cousin who’s just a year younger than me - she had the same reaction as I did😂 Super freaked out and asking for the title and all that, amazing what hearing a tune after years of searching can make you feel🤣
My interpretation of this video, is that it's about heartbreak. When something devastating happens to us, like heartbreak, it hits us in waves and we try to run from it. In this video, each explosion represents a wave of sadness and hurt, and eventually we just break and basically go numb. And we hold onto the memories of the one that hurt us to try and piece together what once was. Just my little insight. Perhaps I'm completely wrong.
As someone who just had a relationship ending fight after dating the same girl for a year and half, I can say this song is perfect for silently screaming into a pillow in pure rage
I've known this song all my life and never thought anything of it. Now as I'm getting into Marianas Trench I'm like HOLY SHIT SO MANY SONGS I KNOW AND NEVER KNEW IT WAS THEM
+Ashleigh Allmon LiTERALY same i heard their songs so many times before and i memorized the lyrics, but i never knew what they looked like until a few months ago :')
I just love the lyrics! Especially “ how do you tell me to fight, to fight for you, after this long I shouldn’t have to” SO TRUE in along of peoples lives!
cattibre lepage porcelain doesn't have a music video. In the story, Porcelain has one of the keys and the Stuttering Prince, played by Josh in Haven't Had Enough, had the other. So that's a basic explanation of why she was in Stutter.
I love to see how people relate to Josh's lyrics. He has a way with making songs relatable and it connects the fans to tge music on a deeper, emotional level. Its so wonderful! This song still gives me chills 3
alexx, my older brother's girlfriend showed me a couple Marianas Trench songs last year around Christmas, and I really liked them. So about 2 weeks ago I decided to listen to more of their music to see if I like more than just those two songs. I'm now obsessed with their Ever After album. And basically all of their music.
Always liked hearing them on the radio, this is the first time I've ever looked for the videos and discovered a story with linked videos and now I'm just gonna have to live with the fact that I'm now currently obsessed with playing their music on repeat throughout the house. C'est la vie. 😅😆
Is it weird to love Marianas Trench even though I'm in college and have never had a boyfriend and have no experience with any of the things they sing about?
Nope. Love and heartache are ingrained into the human experience and even if you've never fully experienced it you can still relate to it and see the beauty in it. But when you have had your first big relationship their songs will mean so much more to you. Least that's how it was for me anyways
Tiex1958 what a bitch. sorry to hear that. you seem like a totally nice guy and that's not right. i hope you're not completely turned off from girls now, there's a lot of us out here that would be lucky to have such a good boyfriend. good luck
Tiex1958 I've had the same issues, only after it happened to me twice I just stopped searching and focus on what I think will make me a better person. If find a guy that just flows with me, and vice versa, that's amazing. If not, I'm not crying about it. I have a lot of health problems (in the surgical aspect) and just figure I'm better off facing it alone -shrugs- Hopefully you'll have a happier ending, everything happens for a reason.
Mom introduced me to this amazing band with this awesome song when i was 16 as a response to my first major heartbreak. At 25 im going through something again and this song hits different but still hits so hard. And mama i really wish you were still here to show me another song like this and talk me through the ways im breaking. December 7th marks a year. Im 25 now but my mom is Forever 48.
My girlfriend of two years left me for some dude who went to her school even though we lived in the same city. This song is pretty accurate when it came to what I was feeling
Bro. We're in so same situation. My girlfriend for 2 yrs also left me for a dude in her school and we also live in the same city. This song represents what I feel right now.
OMG I JUST FOUND THEM ON SPOTIFY. I WAS LISTENING TO HEDLEY AND WENT TO THE RELATED ARTIST AND CLICKED ON THESE GUYS AND OMFG IM IN LOVE. MY NEW FAVORITE SONG!!!!!!
Empty room, I'm empty too Everything reminds me of you So many things I shouldn't have missed The more that I push and the more you resist It's easy to see its for the best When you want more while you leave me with less I know you're fine but what do I do? I know you're fine but what do I... do? I'm awake and trying While you're sleeping like a baby beside him I'm on the ledge while you're so God damn polite and composed And I know you see me And you're making this look so easy What comes and goes I'd go with out I know you're fine but what if I Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout You're the fallout Well now there's him and now there's me The secrets you give and secrets you keep And nevertheless it's never you let It's more that I gave and the less that I get Don't tell me to fight, to fight for you After this long I shouldn't have to I know you're fine but what do I do? I know you're fine but what do I do? I'm awake and trying While you're sleeping like a baby beside him I'm on the ledge while your so God damn polite and composed And I know you see me And you're making this look so easy What comes and goes I'd go with out I know you're fine but what if I Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout I know you're fine but what if I Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout... You're the fallout What do I do? what do I do? What do I do? what do I do? I know you're fine but what do I do? I know you're fine but what do I do? I know you're fine but what if I Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout I know you're fine but what if I I'm awake and trying While you're sleeping like a baby beside him I'm on the ledge while you're so God damn polite and composed Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout (fallout) fallout Fallout through the bottom Fallout (fallout) fallout... (fallout...) fallout
So this must be how the Canadian wild fires started.. Us Minnesotans are tired of the haze. So if you could next time keep the fire to a minimum in your music videos that would be much appreciated. Thank you. (this statement was dripping with sarcasm)
My wife(love of my life) got me into these guys years ago because I would sing these songs to her and as a result I no longer have stage fright...and I sound amazing .not one complaint. I owe it all to her.😥sadly she was called home 4years ago now. And I have been in pieces ever since. I'm just able to listen to them for the 1st time today without completely falling apart since my angels passing. So this song kinda hits hard. Oh! and my name is also....Josh. proud Canadian
I found these guys years ago through gaming with a Canadian guy (I’m Australian) and have loved them ever since. I’ve introduced a lot fairly few Aussies to them aswell. He also got me into Hedley love them aswell.
Soooo I was calmly listening to this beautiful song at night when my twin sister was all like "'Mannnn I keep on steppin' on this tapioca pudding over here.'" She claims she spilled a lil on the floor earlier. She turns the light on and's there is throw up from the cat. Man I never laughed so hard. Sorry for my sis you know but Pshhhh she even said it with a country twang. xD 'I be here steppin' up in dis tapioca pudding, maaaan.' =D
I was in my grandpa's car and I heard heard this song play and I freaked out. I though this song would never play on the radio again but just did! YAY!!!😄
I have been a die hard fan for years, I’ve even recruited my own children as trenchers for lifers. Thank you to Marianas trench for making such amazing music
I've forgotten about this song for five whole years, but I finally remembered it during a barely-conscious midnight internet search the other night, and boy am I glad I did!
Just found out about this band 3 weeks ago, can't stop listening to their songs, bought every CD and got tickets to their US Tour. They are amazing!! Can't wait to meet them.
