This song gives me chills. Honestly it would be really cool to see this song in a modern version of a Romeo & Juliet forbidden love plotline without the deaths at the end. Since we're seeing the resurgence of musicals on screen this would make a powerful duet. Honestly I need two Broadway level singers to cover this on the internet or in a movie like this. Somebody make this happen because I'd love for them to be featured in a international major motion picture and get recognized by even more people for their talent.

Marianas Trench is so underrated. I have been a fan of Marianas Trench since 2010 (when i was 10 years old) And i still get the same feeling and vibe every time I listen to their music.
literally lost my breath hearing _suspending gravity_ in the lyrics, and then the bridge came along and i instantly recognized that snippet from the studio! my roommate & i nearly died haha. everything is starting to come together to create such a beautiful masterpiece. You guys are my favorite musicians. I've been drawn to and loved you guys since I heard Acadia played on the radio when I was 13. I of course had to delve deep and listen to all your albums and have been hooked ever since. I remember waiting in line really early in the morning at Town Center Mall when you all did a meet and greet there and being so elated to meet you! During the wait I actually made a new friend and we exchanged numbers and still talk and hang out to this day. You all were so genuine and nice and I'm ecstatic to see you on tour. I also made another connection with a friend at school since we both noticed that we had some of your lyrics on our binder covers. You have inspired me to become a better musician. You only get better as time goes on and I'm a Trencher for life and will probably force my kids and grandkids to listen one day!!!!
i really loved reading this because i've had similar experiences every time i've gone to see them. trenchers are really the best fanbase out here. everyone is so friendly and fun and it's so easy to just start chatting and make friends with complete strangers just waiting for a concert to begin. i have at least 4 or 5 very close friends that i met at marianas trench shows! and tbh i really think a part of that friendliness comes from mtrench themselves. they're such cool, down to earth people who can joke around and chat w/ their fans as if we're THEIR friends. just like you i'll literally love them until i'm not breathing anymore (and even then, i'll be jamming in the afterlife)
@@DreamOnAStarXx I met one one my really close friends at a mtrench concert during last summer. It was my first mtrench concert and I fell even more deeply in love with them! They dont use auto tune which makes them one of the only bands who don't. I am honestly so excited to meet them I have been listening to their music for at least ten years and they never dissapoint. I can't wait till the album comes out!
Oh hunny!! I love this! They broke out with Shaketramp when i was 14/15ish and the second i heard it i had to listen to their whole album. I was going through a really bad point of depression with self harm being a really big problem. Fix me literally saved my life. The lyrics to every song spoke to me in one way or another i dont know what it was about them but it was like they just knew me in a way that i didnt even know myself. A little sappy and weird but its true lol I have been diagnosed with manic bipolar disorder, moderate-severe anxiety, and manic depression. When i have my bad days i still to this day play september, vertigo, alibis, u name it. Seems to be one of the few things that can distract me and help get me back to my regular self again
Honestly Astoria and Ever After are the most beautifully composed albums I've ever come across. The way all the songs create a single piece and take you on a journey is perfection. I so hope the next album lives up to it 👌 all the songs on their own are lovely so far

I still remember when we drove down to Nashville we listened to Astoria in a loop almost the entire drive from Nebraska. One day at work I heard Beside You and couldn’t get enough. A couple years later I showed my partner and he was hooked as well. Ever since you’ve been “our band”.... years later (June of this year) our first dance at our wedding is Beside You. Marianas Trench has been a band close to my heart and I’m so excited to hear the new album because everything I’ve ever heard you all record has always been a masterpiece and has made my heart sing with happiness. Personally I was loving their new sound. Astoria was my favorite album. Of course that doesn't mean I didn't love the older stuff 🤔 I think this is even further away from their old sound tho

I’ve decided since here’s to the zeros that I’ve just outgrown this band. It makes me really sad because I grew up listening to them, but they’re sound is too pop for me now. They’re allowed to grow and change, unfortunately that just means losing a couple old fans along the way. This song is a little closer to MPT, at the very least.
