Killing everyone isn't justice. She didn't bring her daughter back with it. American prisons are difficult enough and sentences are long enough to make anyone regret what they did. By doing that she simply traumatized other people, and in addition to hers problem others got the new ones.
Yeah only the mother of the child can decide whether they live or die. Stand up for a woman that kills the person that murdered her child, what about the women in the world today getting abortions then.
The real life story is even more tragic The daughter got into an argument with her mother that day and ditched school when she was kidnapped, afterwards in court the rapist/killer kept claiming that the little girl tried to seduce him and the mother just had to sit there listening to all his lies which eventually would lead her to shoot him, she ended up getting cancer a few year after that and sadly didn’t make it that far, she lived a very heartbreaking tragic life

She took a human life, she had to go to jail, I bet she didn't serve long. Good on her for doing the right thing and making that sacrifice in her daughters memory.
For some of you wondering, this footage isn't real. It's just a illustration on what happened during the court. I'm glad the mother was only imprisoned for 3 years. What she did was justifiable because the court would've just sentenced the man to death anyway. Just realized death sentences don't exist in Germany but still justifiable.

Poor lady, the death of one's child, especially if it was so brutal like her daughter's, is something that will never stop haunting a parent. Can't really blame her for what she did, even more because the killer already have been sentenced before and got free.
Its heartbreaking to think that your child was taken from you so easily in the most sick and twisted way and the justice system would take care of the killer the rest of his life had she not taken the appropriate action and response.

I think this is the kind of justice we need sometimes so that people fear from making such atrocious crimes. This world that we are creating where we say we are more humane is only encouraging the weak to be weaker and the dangerous people to be more dangerous.
It just shows you what we as humans are capable of when the ones we love the most are taken by someone who thinks they have nothing to fear. Love is powerful and unpredictable. A mother and father's love for their children will drive them to do anything for them. That's their life, love, and legacy.
