I'm always trying to be as objective as i can in my TP when seeing the hole cards, but there's no way you don't SNAP fold everything that is not AA or KK in this spot. and you can still get away with KK this deep sometimes

More like play by the sword, live by the sword. Playing loose-aggressive is always a fine line to tread without being over aggressive or tilted. Tight is right for that reason.

@JB-pk1jx I mean, sure, it's easy when we can see the cards, but even still, the worst hand Zhao is ever having there is Q's/AK.... and even those, he's probably flatting the $7,500. I just feel like 95% of the time, a 4 or 6 bet is probably A's or K's... especially this guy Zhao. Then when you take into account the fact that Mariano is rarely ever folding, especially when he invests money into the pot (and most people should know this by now), it's abundantly clear it's Aces. But what do I know 🤷‍♂️.

Akot of people criticizing the all in jam with AK....but heres the deal. When you have been running lucky in NL hold em, and your AK has been winning pots for you, its easy to forget that AK is a underdog against any pocket pair. Its only when your AK starts losing on a regular basis, that a player starts to think that a all in jam preflop, is not always the wisest choice.

@@danielwilliams9753 yes, if the player runs lucky, it can be profitable...and/or is in the proper type games where players will fold pocket pairs like JJ or lower to large preflop all ins. But once variance kicks in to the downside, and your AK starts losing 65% or more of the time, it wont be profitable

@@tommyfu9271 you are right that most recs probably are not 6 betting medium pp's but even if some of the time they fold TT-JJ it is still really good result for AK. Of course, this theoretical discussion really depends on player type. Nits, it is an easy fold and maniacs an easy jam. The thing is OP, is asserting things based on "luck". I don't believe in "luck" only math. Sure, you can run hot and cold with hands but that is just variance. Which is why I brought up the situation of getting folds and it then becomes profitable.
