Connie oh i get what you mean. lol. african american hair can be styled like this naturally unlike european who have to style it like this. i think it actually looks more natural on an african american head because it curly and wavy. if you think about wouldnt it be considered an afro? lol
AMAZING!!!! I would really love to try this for a photoshoot, but can't afford to go get extensions right now to make the padding for up top; is there an alternative idea you could suggest??

THE best Marie Antoinette/roccoco hair tutorial on RU-vid! all she needs is jewels and a garden of flowers sprinkled in those curls and she's the spitting image of the queen of France

LOVE hair padding and use it for so many styles. I make mine out of Kanakelon as its so cheap and no need for backcombing - and wrap it in a hair net as well. Thanks - good job.
well! equal parts informative and hilarious! i saw some very interesting techniques and it looks like y'all had tons of fun. and yeah... your model seems totally sloshed.
this was really interesting to watch! i think out of all the sort of Rococo hair tutorials ive seen, this one came out prettiest so far. a nice balance between elegantly coiffed and artfully tousled. i wonder how long hair would affect the process? its wild seeing the transformation from a bob to this
My cousin really did have a Marie Antoinette coiffeur. It was frizzy and puffy if you look at her portrait with her and her children. She's wearing a velvet dress and a small hat. Her hair is exactly the way my cousins once wore it!
