This is a great video showing the sheep, shearing, carding, spinning, warping, loom set up and ultimately weaving. I'm learning and it's definitely a long process. I'm only weaving a 13.5 inch by 14 inch rug and it's taking me a few days of solid weaving. This awesome.

Oh my goodness. I would love to sit and watch the whole process. I would love to learn how to do this. I need sheep to spin wool and a loom to weave. Such beautiful work!

I love how simple their looms are. I want to weave but it always seems like you need to spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on a loom. 😢 But here, the artists are creating such beauty using traditional and simple tools. Love it!

The Dragqueen Storytime episodes and the sexualisation of very young children lead to me investigating how the 'education' system hypersexualised us growing up in the 70s/80s. Granted we were teenagers but nevertheless we were confronted with page 3 girls, hypersexualised Hollywood movies, pornography etc. (pedophilia was underground then). We were told all this was normal and if we didn't 'fit in' we were old fashioned or accused of being like Mary Whitehouse. Maybe the previous generations were victimised in a similar way and sexualisation has been a way to manipulate society.

Mostly likey it was bought by the gallery for pennyon a dollar and sold 100% markup! Its is sad to see the hard work that go into the making of these unique and authentic pieces and the artist are being ripped off!! I don't see a CHANEL OR GIVENCHEY COUTURE PIECE going for less that $30,000.00! Something is wrong with the artist being underpaid and Something needs to be done!
