There are so many great things about this. Nonchalant performance. One of the greatest melodies written. Gypsy Jazz. Clarinet. Classic singing. The clothes. Outside in natural sunshine. Absolutely wonderful.
What a lovely rendition! I see it's been a number of yrs but I hope you're still playing. Really a delight! (Found you as I work the tune up for High Desert Ukulele Club.)
Oh wow, I can't believe that all the legends that have done this song (Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, many others) can't even come close to this version by a seemingly unknown neighborhood band!! This is one of the reasons Quebec is my favorite travel destination (I live in Washington DC) - so much great local music (discovered Les Cowboys Fringants and Daniel Bélanger while driving and listening to a local radio station), culture and friendly, laid-back people who know how to do things in style. Keep it up guys - J'espère que vous serez tous bientôt vraiment célèbres!!
@@kareng7580 Of course not - on my own YT channel, I have recorded three different versions of this song by local bands, and Sophie Tucker has been duly mentioned (in the description) in all of them.
I absolutely love this rendition of "Some Of These Days". I have it on my Spotify. My parents used to play this when I was a kid. It's a classic. I love old classic tunes. I just subscribed to your channel and I'm excited to hear what's coming next from you. From the clarinet solo, to the acoustic guitar, and the voices were all soothing and good, easy listening to my ears. You guys put a smile on this brown eye boy's face. I wish you guys great success in continuing to shine and electrify the music world and fans with your spectacular talent.
Tristan Burrow Dear Tristan, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this very kind comment. I love old classic songs too... The guys playing with me on the video are like my brothers. They are in Quebec and I’m in Paris! We record songs together when we meet! We’ll try our best to post another soon! Thanks my friend for following my music. Nice things coming up. Take care.
WOW! Do you guys do other music , songs like this because you blew this out of the water. I love old songs like this , keep up the good work. P.S please keep doing the older songs , the version of this one is like something you would hear a bistro in Paris.
Dear Alejandra! Of course, look up for Marie-Louise Desage or Marie-Lou Desage on the web, you'll find a lot of things to watch or listen to. // marielouisdesage.com //My friends playing along with me are The Royal Pickles, a very active and beautiful band from Montreal! // royalpickles.com // Cheers! :-)
Hello Ray! Yes, I got your message and transfered it to my two musician friends that play with me here. I'll let you know our answers very soon! Thank you for your request and talk soon!
Bienvenue Marie-Louise :) j'ai vécu 2 ans à Montréal ! si vous souhaitez m'entendre accompagner ce thème au piano, c'est la 1ère vidéo de facebook.com/Geneva-Boogie-Woogie-trio-171962179539734/ ''fait pas fret partout'', bonsoir de Genève !
