well that is a statement, I think it is not really underrated, it should have delivered the artist at that time... but this track is played a lot on radio stations I know, it s a 4ever diamond

i sang and played lavender for my dying dog. the "a penny for your thoughts my dear" part made me cry because she could not recognize anyone anymore. she died seconds after the my poor performance ended, but i hope she'll remember. wherever she is.

This I did not realise until today is a fantastically brilliant love song . And love the lyrics. Heard it in the 80’s never for whatever reason got just how good it is .
This always reminds me of times when I was sitting with a good friend in her room, smoking cigarettes, drinking wine, talking for hours. It was in the 90s, there was just friendship and music and dancing, we were young and wild and free.... We loved The Cure, U2, Depeche Mode, The Police, The Doors and Albums like this. Oh, and the new stuff that came out: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. What a great time to be young, I am very thankful for that. Makes me very emotional today.

Why did I not discover Marillion when this released. This album stands the test of time . Amazing album . After now ordering the 2017 remaster this will now take centre stage in my CD player. Just Musical perfection.

The bass work on these songs is ridiculously good. As is the entire recording. One of the best sounds I have heard. Had this on vinyl and it was heavenly.

I named my now 22 year old kayleigh after many nights losing myself to this album in the 80s, her mum would never let me have the final say so I made a list with a couple of her nanes & added kayleigh as a lazy after thought letting her think it was her that was naming our baby then months later confessing my plan she was born to be kayleigh ❤️ her brother fugazi is another story 😂😂
