I agree! I wish they at least used this theme in a couple more of the movies at some point for consistency. Each movie has their own theme and they’re all good in their own right but don’t compare to this one. TomandAndy’s soundtrack for Afterlife and Retribution were really good ones too. RE: Extinction by Clouser (who did the Saw films) had a good horror sound to the movie and even a theme that sounded somewhat similar to this one.

I just watched it after only seeing parts of it as a kid, I enjoyed it a lot and I love the way the ending sets up the next movie. One thing I didn't really like though is the reasoning for the outbreak happening, like the husband spreading the virus for money. But that's a minor gripe

The energy produced is just enough to power the motor neurons and the basic lower brain functions. That was directly from the description so basically you would not get powers like that. All you would get is slower and alot more groggy and you would want to eat more to replenish the energy of the t-virus
