Yes...MArilyn and Billy still tour and perform *as does Florence and the 5th Dimension*... If you go to my page...and look in my favorites...there's I video of Marilyn singing One Less Bell to Answer rather recently at a concert in the park...she STILL sounds FABULOUS.

Really, "Hold On" was recorded by Carlos Santana's band, yes, and Alex Ligertwood was the lead singer in this song, not Ian Thomas. Greetings from Brazil.

The sound quality on this clip is a bit muffled, but if you compare her performance to the Santana version she does a great job. Not hard on the eyes either.

To people getting butthurt because they refer this as a Santana song it's because Santana's version not Ian Thomas was a hit here in the US. Ian Thomas version (the original) is excellent and was a huge hit in Canada but not here. Ask someone the question who sings Blinded By The Light? Most will say Manfred Mann not Bruce Springsteen even though both are spectacular versions and both were #1 hits here in the US. As far as this version by the beautiful Marilyn McCool, it's OK nothing special.

I just don't understand. This performance was from probably 35-40 years ago. For me the last great decade of music was the 90's...I am currently 53. Why has music been dead for the last 20 years in this country(world)?!? I can't believe the music writing that occurred from the 50's thru the 90's can't happen again. I also do not believe that there are no people with ACTUAL singing talent(no autotune) left in this country. I'm left to believe that lazy "music" executives just go for the cheapest, laziest, lowest common denominator junk music that they can make a buck on...and the hell with actual quality. I mean I can remember groups, songs, and lyrics from music of the 50's thru the 90's but hardly anything from the last twenty years. Even most of the radio stations on regular radio only cover music from those first four decades...because it's pretty much what people like. So when will REAL music come back?
