This is one of if not my favorite songs that Marilyn performed in a movie. She's so beautiful and she sings so beautifully. She looks like Cinderella!!!
What I see is someone who could project complete innocence beyond anything anyone else ever did. Whatever her troubles or her conflict with an ugly world which was difficult for anyone to understand, this was hers, and she gave it to all of us.
My mother used to sing this song to me when I was a little baby. I always wondered who sang it. Now I know and it just figures because she always reminded me of that beauty Marilyn!

Wow, when I was only 7, I was captivated by a women in an old black white re- run......that women happened to be Marilyn Monroe!. Gee I got good taste.

It's almost strange that her singing voice here is better than it was in later films, for example her voice sounds smoother here than it did in Some Like it Hot where I thought at times her vibrato was a bit too wobbly....I assume this is all her own voice, it certainly sounds like her.
