These variations on a theme by Marin Marais are part of the "Viola Spaces" cycle by Garth Knox. Each variation uses one of the techniques explored in the "Viola Spaces" studies to bring out even more the different colours. Some of the techniques blend perfectly with the Baroque style, others give unexpected results.
