Thank you Oscar for posting this video, I share your sentiments. I have not been to the Marina Vallarta market, I spend my time in Centro or Romantic Zone. I have also noticed some businesses are populated with mostly foreigners giving the impression that they want to be amongst those most like themselves. I avoid these businesses because I prefer to be among a mix of people that represent many demographics instead of being exclusive.

Hi Oscar. Having been to Puerto Vallarta several times myself from the USA and even hired you the last time I was there to go to go to Hill of the Cross and a butterfly sanctuary, which I very much enjoyed meeting you and you taking us around.I think the reason most Americans and Canadians don't by Mexican foods from the open markets like that is becuase in the back of their minds they are worried about the food safety of it, is it safe to eat without getting some type of food poisoning from foods not being refrigerated or having some other type of food bacteria in it. I think most really want to try it and eat it but are kind of affraid to.

yes, I understand it is like the fear of coming to mexico on vacation because it is believed to be very dangerous, of course it is like everywhere else in the world but there are tourist areas like puerto vallarta where it is very safe. As for the food, I also believe that one does not get used to foreign food, and that is normal. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Oscar. I was in Puerto Vallarta in February and we spent many nights eating in Pitillal and some in Zona Romantica and Malecon. On our last night, my wife and I went to this Marina market. We ate the cheeses and they were amazing and we had elotes with everything an we tried the artisan ice cream and posole and ate some Mexican candies. We're from Arizona and when we come to Mexico we want to eat everything we can that is not available to us in USA. We did enjoy this market for many hours and it is a beautiful marina location however, we felt like there was too many gringos and we were looking for more of a Mexican experience. That being said we still enjoyed and had many different agua frescas especially liked the guanabana and maracuya agua frescas. I would go again next visit but prefer to checkout another market that we were unable to experience. Thanks for your videos. Thank you for your hard work.

We’re taught not to drink the water in foreign places. I love Mexico and vacation there frequently, but it’s very common to end up with a little travelers diarrhea.
