I love how just a couple weeks after he made this, Nintendo announced Splatoon 3, which means Marina's paranoia of being irrelevant was almost certainly well founded. A new game means a new duo announcing the news, and a stepped back roll for the other two pairs. Poor Marina is gonna have to fight with a new crowd of fans to stay in the spotlight. Also, why is Nintendo forcing a game that's still going strong after three years to compete with a sequel on the same console? It makes no sense financially or for the community!

Seeing where you go with this will be incredibly interesting, especially since Marina as a character is somebody who grew up as quite a lonely person, especially with her background origin, she cares so dearly about the friends she finally has and is afraid to lose them (Hence her advocating for order to be kept).. seeing where you take all of this with your own take and lore will be so, so very interesting and i'm excited to be a part of the ride watching it!
