@@nullpoint3346 That reminds me of an incident that happened to my mom; she'd bought fries from a Hills department store cafe after shopping and while heading to her car she saw some seagulls savaging in the parking lot and decided to give them one, this of course turned out to be a bad idea as those rats with wings swarmed and to save herself she was force to toss the fries before booking it to her car.
The high pitched Coco voice she usually does makes her sound slightly less American, but without it she sounds like she could be one of my neighbors lol

I live in a small town in South Georgia, and Coco doesn't sound like anyone I've ever heard. Her English is so far removed from what I know as a Southern accent that I had no idea where she was from, I just thought she sounded super weird lol. If you're from elsewhere in the US, you may not realize it, but there are many, _many_ distinct Southern accents. They don't just vary across state lines, but by specific regions as well. So Coco's Atlanta accent was nigh unrecognizable to me, even though I live less than 3 hours from where she supposedly grew up. (And by the way, the metropolis of Atlanta is so culturally different from the more rural parts of Georgia, it's really like going to a different state). All of that said, though, I don't think that Coco would sound "normal" to most Atlantans; I suspect that she has a mix of several different accents from her parents, her childhood home in Atlanta, and her last decade or so of living in Japan. (The first time I heard her speak, I didn't think that she was even a native English speaker.) Sorry if this is kinda rambling, but I just wanted to give my thoughts on how Coco sounds to me, as a native South Georgian.
I love it, sometimes she speaks with a weird broken English accent (maybe to appease the Japanese listeners?), but then sometimes she speaks with her natural accent like here and it sounds so fucking good.
With context. She knows they already went to the shower, so she could guess what they meant by "shower end". We don't have the context that they just had showers.

With context, and also with Japanese grammar I guess. Some do speak other languages by trying to translate a sentence from their own language word by word.

At 1:49 you can almost hear Marine's normal voice at the start of her sentence. It's the first time I hear it. I'm not sure if I'm one of the few who hadn't heard it before. Her real voice is so attractive. I'm surprised.

I love that Coco's picture is her resting her head on her hand like that. Really made it feel like that's exactly the position she was in watching these two struggle through some engrish.
You know, this is a trio that actually works really, really well together and I can't say I expect this outcome: Kanatan the bully victim that can shrug off insults and depression, Marine the attentive, ever-bubbly girl that is a strong cohesive for every discussion, and Coco the deadpan snarker, shitposter and translator that helps everybody behind the scenes.
