I love this man with all my heart. He is my best friend, soul-mate, and HERO!!! Love that our engagement was captured on video. It still gives me butterflies!
So much respect for any soldier willing to fight for their country even if its not my own.Also have to do a shout out to the men and women who stay loyal to them and give them a reason to keep fighting and to come back home.
awesome! i´m a german soldier ..... in germany the people around you spit at us soldiers if we walk in uniform at the trainstation a ceremony with soldiers in public is nearly impossible without any stupid fuckers which are trying to bother us soldiers ...... i hope we german soldiers can be so proud like your country a big respect america

Anything militaristic, nationally prideful or otherwise inspiring was condemned by the Allied forces in a process called "denazification". It was criminal what they did to the German people, but that's victor's "justice" unfortunately.
Soldier I'm so sorry to hear that and I feel bad for you . Same thing happened to our US Soldiers in US Airports . On their way home from Viet Nam They were spit on and called baby killers . That is terrible German Soldiers in uniform are spit on in your train stations . . Has that ever happened to you ? Are you still in The German Army now ? I was in the US Air Force . I served in your country in the Saarland 20 kilometers from the French Border. I was at Zweibrucken AB in Zweibrucken. I loved it in your beautiful country. My base closed in the summer of 1991 and almost all of the base buildings have been torn down. The runways were used as a commercial airport for awhile but some one in Belgium said the airport had to close down . It's only used now for privately owned planes and the German Luftwaffe land planes there some times . The indoor skating rink is still in business. They play hockey games in it. What town are you from in Germany ? I went back to Zweibrucken AB in ' 82 or ' 83 I had a US Air Force Friend who was still stationed there . He lived near by in a small village called Rieschweiler with his wife & daughters . I stayed in his house. I was on vacation from my US Government job. I got out of the US Air Force on 25 May 1975 a few days after I got back to the US @ McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey .
There was a cute marine proposal I'm looking for where the soldier got all his buddies to sing 'you are my sunshine' to his girl and then asked her to marry him. This is beutifull too but if anyone finds that one will you let me know please?
