To those who can't hold a salute for more than three hours, your argument is invalid. This person has held his salute for three hours in the sun with his Class A uniform with a broken wrist.
46AFD Owing to its relatively recent adoption by British and American military culture, it is less common for U.S. Marines who served in the Vietnam War or earlier to be familiar with "Ooh Rah!", but most post-Vietnam War U.S. Marines and Vietnam War U.S. Marines who continued to serve after the war will have learned it throughout their careers
This is true patriotism, I don't give a damn if you're a conservative or a liberal, this is the type of respect and dedication this country sorely needs right now. This man fought for all of us and to let political parties tear us apart is a slap in the face to every soldier who fought and died for us. We need to stand together. United, we rise. Divided we fall.
I've never been in the army nor am I an American, but this just gives me chills and Idk why? I feel a sense of pride and Idk why? It's so odd that I feel like crying listening to this story and watching him. Love from NZ. Churr!
That sounds like you have fallen in love with America, and the kind of pride, and privileges we keep thanks to the men and women of our military services. God bless you!
Legit the same here dude. Not military nor American. I had to force myself to not scream out to the screen 'go on mate, you can do this!' when he was shaking. Honour and Courage. Inspiration to all who bears witness.
This man is truly a HERO and deserves many thanks. He is doing what we all should do for all our soldiers the ones that made it back and those that did not. And Americans should all be ashamed for how the Vietnam veterans were treated when they returned.....
God bless this man he is what every American should strive to be strong in our convictions, and our duties, and our morals, in everything this is why I love this country because of men like him sir I salute you
The one man who is helping him says it all...service before self! We've given up teaching our children that practice and instead have taught them they are all #1 and to watch out for themselves and always put themselves first. This man is a credit to his branch of service and to our Country as a whole. I salute you SSgt Tim Chambers. If only there were more like you! You are one in a million...The few, the proud, the United States Marines! Much love and respect being sent your way!
This guy is amazing ,true grit , utter respect to him , Alan united kingdom , thank god USA are our allies , your our cousins !! Love your country one day I'll visit
Jeremy Benthem it’s unfortunate- but I’d imagine as long as hatred and greed exists there will be war to follow it. God bless those who serve and face that hatred so we don’t have to
Staff Sergeant Chambers, you say you never deployed in an interview some yrs ago? Through the years and today, with a broken wrist, DON'T EVER DOUBT you have anything to prove. You remind of me of 'my Gunny' Wilkey & my cousin Gunny Cooper, both of whom did 3 tours in-country (1 was Recon, 1 in Que Son). I salute you, your wife, mom, grandmother & entire family. Oorah!
Spent 12 years in Army and lost several brothers during that time..people who serve and who have served completely understand why this MARINE does what he does. Nothing but the most respect for this man. Keep it up brother. And whoever disliked this video can fu*ck off.
Dear Marine Staff Sergeant Tim Chambers, thank you for your service and continued dedication to the United States of America, it's Service Members and our Constitution. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great respect for America and how they honour their fellow Military personnel. As an ex Navy Marine from South Africa, I salute all fellow men/ women who serve or have served their respective countries in the military. Well done friend.
THIS IS WHAT RESPECT A DEDICATION TO YOUR COUNTRY LOOKS LIKE. THIS MAN DESERVES SO MANY MEDALS OF HONOR, I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO COUNT HOW MANY HE DESERVES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR.
God Bless You Hero!! Words cannot Express our Gratitude for You & All the other Heroes like You! I am in LE & was engaged to an Iraqi Vet. And come from a family of Military who All Served in past & current combat. You could be saying that others should be out that honoring you for your service, but YOU CONTINUE TO HONOR & SHOW PRIDE FOR ALL THE OTHERS!! Last night I showed my Teenage son this video, he's seen others of you before, but I wanted him to see your DEDICATION AND STRENGTH!! I told him...This Hero is your role model, not the athletes etc, This is the Reason why it is important to show up at every parade we can, donate to our warriors, The smallest bit of gratitude by showing our support means a lot to our Heroes. I explained how we go on everyday & the media shows no coverage on what's going on in the ME! That we are still Losing Heroes and yet some actor makes Front Page!! You are truly an inspiration! A HERO, A TRUE WARRIOR!! I want my son to admire, and look at You & Men like You as His Role Model in life. Thank You For All You Have Given for us and Continue to give! The World Needs More Like You!! You and All The Brave are Always in Our Hearts...WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💚💚
I agree with you! Not only do I come from a military family but both my husband and I are veterans. I show our children videos like this and explain to them why it is important. We do what we can when we can, but this man lifts my heart.
I know all too well how he feels. They are right, discipline is the key. I've had a separated shoulder since 2001. Active Duty Injury. I will never, ever, hold back a salute. I know his pain is more than mine, but I would join him ANY DAY! ARMY PRIDE!
Thank you to all of our service members, Sergeant Chamber you are the definition of commentment and dedication. I salute you, thank you for being there and all that you have done. I am grateful that men and women like you are standing post to keep us free. You have my utmost respect!
Oliver Stimson ..i wish some of our young and dumb liberals, could respect some of the things that made this Country Unique. You obviously do. We welcome people like you into our Great Country!
Why?? Healthcare isnt all that great...everythimg is fucking expensive to pay with the lowest wages ever.. really you probably better off where you at or else where...somtimes I wish I wasn't born here
Unable to get it still ... How can somebody give a thumbs down on this?? Whoever these 3 guys are they need medical help! Being from India I salute you from my heart. Long live the 2 great democracies ...
Wtf ur an idiot. Marine, navy, Air Force, army are soldiers..... Pretty sure you never served in the military if you can't realize all branches of the military are soldiers...
Devilman Sure by definition they can all be soldiers. Even the private contractors that the military hires out would even be considered soldiers. But airman rarely refer to themselves as airman but rather working for the Air Force. And sailors rarely refer to themselves as sailors but rather working for the Navy. Same goes for the Army. The Marine Corps is a different story.
Fantastic Great man God Bless you and your Grand mother what an example for the world and specially for those young people that complain over everything thank you from the bottom of my heart
This is amazing, thank you to all of our troops for your services, my dad was a NAVY SEAL, served in Vietnam, it’s hard that I lost him after I turned 13 to Cancer.
Stand strong brother, words can't express the level of respect and gratitude I have for you, and every other true American that has served this country.
SEMPIR FI HOO RAA once a marine always a marine this marine deserves a metal for dedication above and beyond the call of duty and so does his grandma she is a super trooper
God bless Sgt. Chambers and ALL of our Armed Forces personnel (past and present). We live blessed lives because of your selflessness. You humble us all and make us very proud. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
It's a pity, our current commander in chief will never know or appreciate heroes like this Marine, or the other fine brothers and sisters in arms that stand a post every day to keep us safe ….even if he saw this, he just wouldn't understand.
lawdog490 . . . Why? Because he doesn't share your political views? I remember when this country about something more than biting our thumb at the other political party.
Maybe if you idiots looked at the date like a normal person you would see he wrote this over 2 years ago meaning obama was in office at the time. Use your brains before jumping to conclusions.
From the Halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli; We fight our country's battles In the air, on land, and sea; First to fight for right and freedom And to keep our honor clean; We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marine.
I'm ex- British forces and salute you Tim, your courage and dedication to past, present members of the armed forces and comrades who are no longer with us is a testament to your corp, sempre fi John from Yorkshire, England.
Thank you for what you do Staff Sergeant. I rode up from Texas, seeing you there was very well worth the trip. ( Former OS1 USN Here )God Bless You, For what your doing.
May God bless this Marine for his time all he stands for. My father was Veteran, and I have two brothers and my husband that are Veterans. God Bless all of our Veterans young and old.
Army veteran here we may joke about our Marine cousins eating crayons and not being too bright but we still love them and if you mess with them you mess with us God bless you Staff Srgt Chambers sending you a salute from Georgia with all my love
I am a marine myself. The thought of holding a salute that long is almost unbearable. However this marine shows that level of discipline and honor every year. I may not be able to hold that long. But if given the chance. I will hold it as long as I possibly can. Semper fi brother. God bless you
HOORAA! THAT GIVES ME SO MUCH HOPE! LOOK YOUNG ONES!, BE SOMETHING! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE TO ALL SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN! THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT COUNTRY!
