Lady Gaga's mystery Marine is sharing behind-the-scenes details from inauguration day! Marine Corps Captain Evan Campbell was chosen to be the "Stupid Love" singer's escort as she made her way to the mic to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner." As he told Task and Purpose, he landed the high-profile gig during rehearsal the day before, when it became apparent Gaga's voluminous couture gown might be hard to walk in. “They basically looked around and I was one of the taller, larger individuals, and they just asked if I would be willing to assist and I was more than happy to,” he said. Cpt. Cambell shared more details about the heartwarming moments they shared before walking out arm in arm for her big song.

Whether you like her music or not, you can't deny she's such an incredible person. People who know her or have met her only have the nicest things to say about her. You can tell she's a very caring person. Someone achieving that level of fame and not letting it go to their head is so rare. We've seen one celebrity after another becoming so famous (even though they don't really showcase any talent) that at a certain point, they're not relatable at all. I think Gaga will continue to be relevant because she just oozes talent and her art is always evolving. But most importantly, she uses her power for good.

I wanted to share some thing I suprises by, but this meme explained it. Her cashmere blouse was Navy. I can see now the red, white, and blue, I watched a meme from the couture atelier, walked thru this gown down to the seamstress, dressmaker, all the way up and too her. The atelier was so happy and honored to have this Superstar, and that it was for a historical events of firsts. The inauguration. She hailed it. Excellente performance. I don't know if it was so much related to how they campaigned for him. I found JLo an odd choice to sing period. Especially to have her follow Lady Gaga. I mean no disrespect for Jennifer Lopez. She has had an amazing career and is clearly comfortable in who she is. I envy her that. She's a dancer, though, who has happened to have also had an impressive career as a recording artist. Lady Gaga is a classically trained singer and musician who can also dance. If I were Joe Biden, I wouldn't have wanted to follow Lady Gaga. ;-P When they announced that JLo was following Gaga, I said, "Oh, that just SUCKS!!!" JLo can't do anything with her voice. She can't go up more than an octave, if that. She has no vocal range. All she can do is sing louder. I was explaining all of that to my Mom as she was singing and what does she do? She sings "Get LOOOOOOUUUUUUUUDDDDDD!!!!!!" That's all she's got. That said, she is keeping it TIGHT as a woman of 50. She looked absolutely luminous that day. She's still crushing it on the dance floor, as an actress, a model, fashionista. She earned everything she has and she deserves all of it. At the end of the day, no matter what I think of her, she's still has all of what she has and I'm just an armchair critic on YT.
