@@RAVANA7 You're mad that your mother abandoned you when you were still a baby so you never got to experience affection, I don't know how else such a foul mouthed person could exist
this is the only time we got ACTUAL training 😂 Being an Airman, naturally they pursue knowledge. Marines are a wealth of knowledge Airmen will never experience 😅
@@Kevin-gm4ky Well, then is this where I say I was in AFSOC? I knew plenty of CCTs, TACPs, Pararescuemen, etc. If you think a bunch of band nerds in uniform can beat guys who've passed selection then you're the one with no firsthand knowledge.
Sounds like you are making the point even more. Air Force is soft. Marines are proud to be tough, they need to be, and they aren't pampered. That wouldn't help them.
@@leesh342 There’s only two branches of the military, the Army and the Navy. The Air Force is a corporation and the Marine Corps is a cult. The Coast Guard are under homeland security and I'm not even going to attempt a classification for space force lol jkjk we talk mad crap towards each other and even fight more times than I would like to admit but it's kinda like having a sibling I can pick on them but if your not military sit your wannabe butt down bc we will fight for each other!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Yup... devildogs smelled that shit in his blouse pocket and made like scorpion from Mortal Kombat and said "get over here!" ... just less words and more "rahs" and "kills"😂😂😂
The air force is kinda like that in active duty. It was wild hearing them basically pit us against eachother on the job, made me wish I joined a more cohesive branch, or at least a different job
@@David-Ray there’s only one strategy, they were just quicker to employ it. Get the line moving and keep it moving, you can’t do that by leaning into it you have to pull hence “tug” o war. Air Force just didn’t get on the rope and tugging before the marines had their first pull going
@@dirtyaznstyle4156 the Air Force used the traditional anchor and hold and pull. The Marines used a rhythm with cadence to dislodge the Air Force's anchor. More analysts commentary and "Cotton" next on ESPN "The Ocho".
@@Killbayne whatever works. These fellas are training with each other all day every day for their entire enlistment. Even if Battalion, Company, and platoon was being chill, the NCO's had them doing drills and were constantly training them. There are very few places in this world, where you'd find a group of fellas who know each other any more than they do.
I always loved the branch rivalries and jokes. Some take it more serious than they should but every branch is incredible in its own way. S/F from a prior Marine
@@romanbennifir6020 Yeah pilots are cool too, but they’re such an incredibly small percentage of the Air Force and they will never have the respect or publicity that the other branches have.
@@grinjnbren AF is actually not smart their friggin adult nerds at this point especially the ones who work on planes or do what my dad currently does which is basically maintaining the amount of money the base has
@@puff_the_magic_dragon arguably, F22 is still very cool don't get me wrong but F35 is better at most things that matter in todays world, now don't get me wrong I still would prefer f22 any day but you have to give credit where it's due
@@justlooking3170 I mean even if the airforce got together and did the same they’d likely lose. Marines are trained for this more. Airforce is just that they deal with AirPower, nothing really ground based. Pilots, mechanics, and engineers.
You can see the marines actually working together unlike the airforce who are just pulling and tugging the rope. You can hear them all say ‘Pull! Pull! Pull!’ And all tugging hard all at the same time, a short pause to take a back step and brace for the next pull and there y’a go!
Fun Fact: A nuclear powered aircraft carrier is the heaviest and most powerful ship in the fleet. It can take as many as 8 tugs to bring it into the docks. However, with all that power and all those tugs, that last 20 feet to the pier is all Sailors and Marines pulling on the lines that tie the ship up. No gloves, no loosing your grip, just pulling that 100,000 long tons in with hard hands and strong backs. The Air Force never had a chance.
AF "If y=mx+b then we can add 60 to the square root of 8 meters below celsius to pull the marines across this cone." Marines: "Serg promised us crayons if we win HOAH HOAH HOAH!"
The best way to play tug of war with a group of people is to be in perfect sync with one another so that everyone’s strength is used equally and efficiently😁👍🏾 the marines demonstrated that perfectly.
@@theotherside1159 Air forces basic is a joke. Someone who wanted a challenge and to get their hands dirty probably chose to be a jarhead or groundpouder. From my experience a lot of buddies of mine scored very well on their asvab as did I. I just wanted something that showed tenacity. I consider myself to be fairly intelligent and my test scores have proven it. Show some humility. Army, Marines, Airforce, etc are all on the same side
I'm sure the boys with the air force could have held there own.. if they where against the navy lol then again those boys know how to tug on long hard things.
No they would have lost we live on ships and we do mooring lines all day long. Take a look at the lines we have to pull in and to pull out ,to get dock in port or under way.
The navy would lose to the Marines because we did a game day in Virginia with them an it was over in 3 mins. Yes , we cry, our captain promise liberty if we beat them if not we work all day. Well you know how much work we did, he made us paint the whole ship an clean it all day. Damn Marines.
It is crucial for the Marines to win the tug-of-war against the "Chair Force" to uphold the integrity of the corps. No Marine would be able to live down the fact that they allowed the "Chair Force" to beat them in tug-of-war. This is not just a fight for survival, but a battle to hold up the integrity of the corps as a whole. Allowing that to go south would result in significant ridicule and damage to the reputation of the Marines.
We used to do this at Pensacola. Only thing is Air Force actually beat the Marines in most physical activities there. Air Force Maintenance are built different.
