Too bad they said I was permanently disqualified from military service. it sucks how immigrants who aren't citizens get accepted but when a patriot who is willing to sacrifice gets told no before MEPs.
If only I was a resident :( asylum seeker here. Nicaragua has history with the Marines and ever since I looked up to the MC even with a waiver I hope to get in once I get my residence.
I EAS'd in '90. If you were to ask the people I know &or work with to describe me, I believe the Lion's Share of them would say, "He's a MARINE !" Those that truly know, I believe they would say, "He's a MARINE, like his Dad before him !!!"
the air force is trying to get rid of the A10 warthog. congress has stopped them so far. i am suggesting that the A10 would fit in with the Marine style of fighting better. sure, its not ship deployable, but we have had non deployable planes before. i think the A10 would really be an asset to the Marines
Throughout time, the Axis powers had always focused on the US Army when ti came to war with the United States. But little did they know, the Americans had another set of warriors ready to fight. They would raid the trenches and clear forests in the battle of bellau. Few of them would join their brothers in the US Army in the invasion of the beaches of Normandy. They would fight just as hellish like they did in the great war, while most of these men would fight fiercely against the japanese. These beasts were always unexpected and feared, and they always will be. Their fierce fighting showed the enemies that nothing can stop the power of faith upon god. Their history had impacted many to enlist and join the brotherhood and become the next generation of such blessed warriors. They are, the United States Marines Corps.
Semper Fi. 2002-2006. Took me around the world twice. Craziest years of my life. OEF-OIF. God Bless all you young Men and Women that are in it now! The world is crazier now. Keep pushing FORWARD, always!
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS is a " calling". Simple as that!! From the time I could read and comprehend,I fell in love with military history. Lived amongst greatest fighting force ever to exist" The Greatest Generation". After reading "Guadalcanal Diary", I KNEW I wanted to be a Marine..."The Greatest Military Force" ever to exist. You can take away everything I own BUT, my Combat Action Ribbon. I want on my headstone," Here lies a Combat Marine Grunt". Wouldn't walk across the street to meet a celebrity but would fight through a crowd to meet Marine MOH recipients( my Platoon Sgt. is one, posthumously). OORAH and Semper Fi.
Well said Sir! We absolutely MUST stay innovative and relevant, not just on the battlefield, but at home too. We MUST look forward to the future and "get it right the first time." This includes volunteering first, and volunteering for missions that other services won't do. They've already tried to disband us before, and it could very well happen again. Everything we do matters, and is under a microscope for a reason. We already have an Army. We must make America think twice about disbanding their beloved Marine Corps. We must show that we are the PEOPLE'S Corps. "America does not need a Marine Corps, it WANTS a Marine Corps." We must stay wanted. We must be desirable.
i am thinking join the marines i wanna be something different. i want to fight for my country my people. im only 15 years old but i thinking join the marines. cause i wanna dedicate my time to safe the world , to keep my country secure. i want that dream when i was only 4 years old, when i was playing with soldier dolls and my toy pistols. i want that dream become true.
I greatly fear that you are right Michael. I work for a defense contractor. I hear some true horror stories from Marines whom recently EAS'd. Breaks my heart.
Glad to see things getting better. I was in during the Clinton administration and it was a challenge. I was the only guy that reenlisted everyone else got out because of the political BS. Glad to see the Marine Corp getting on track.
Good luck in Parris Island man! say hi to Recruit Cook, Burg and or Supliki down there if you see or have them in your platoon from Poolee Le!! oorah! Semper Fi!
Any OLd devil dogs back in my day 89-93 remember the video they played in the recruiters office" If you want to feel the pride of being a marine you must put forth maximum effort at all time." Trying to find that shit, luv it to death. Let me know if you do.
i remmeber when my OP in afghanistan was tasked with supporting a NATO sanctioned marine corps mission in the area, about halfway through when i got a comms check this marine came on the radio and just said "oh dont worry brothers, we got the bastard...rah" i literally fell out of my little field chair laughing so hard my section sgt got back on the radio and said "rah marine" XD
If anyone sees this and can spare a moment check for any mistakes and comment concerning any improvements. HEMP and HGV Impact High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) and Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV) deployment are two emerging technologies that have the potential to disrupt communication systems. HGVs, in particular, have the ability to travel at hypersonic speeds and at extremely high altitudes, making them capable of delivering HEMPs that can damage or destroy a wide range of electronic systems. In this paper, we will explore the potential impacts of HEMP and HGV deployment on communication systems and discuss various multi-domain options available to the Department of Defense (DoD) to prevent and/or counter targeting of communication systems with EMP technologies. The HEMP threat is not new, but the advent of HGVs has added a new dimension to it. HGVs can carry a nuclear weapon to high altitudes and release it, creating a HEMP that can damage or destroy electronic systems over a wide area. This is particularly concerning for communication systems, as they are critical for military operations and the functioning of society as a whole. The HEMP generated by an HGV can cause a widespread blackout, disrupting communication systems and rendering them inoperable. To counter the HEMP threat, the DoD has several options available. One option is to harden communication systems against EMPs. This can be done by using materials that are resistant to EMPs, such as Faraday cages, and by designing systems with redundant components. Another option is to use systems that are not vulnerable to EMPs, such as those that use fiber optic cables instead of copper cables. Another multi-domain option is to use space-based assets to detect and track HGVs. This can be done by using satellites equipped with sensors that can detect the launch of an HGV and track its trajectory. By doing so, the DoD can determine the likely impact area of a HEMP and take measures to protect communication systems in that area. In addition, the DoD can use cyber capabilities to counter HEMP threats. This can be done by using cyber defensive measures to protect communication systems from cyber attacks, as well as by using cyber offensive measures to disrupt or degrade the capabilities of an HGV before it can deliver a HEMP. In conclusion, HEMP and HGV deployment have the potential to disrupt communication systems and have significant impacts on military operations and society as a whole. The DoD has various multi-domain options available to prevent and/or counter targeting of communication systems with EMP technologies, including hardening communication systems, using space-based assets, and using cyber capabilities. Further research and development in these areas is crucial to ensure the resilience of communication systems against HEMP threats in the future. 🦅 INNOVATE. ADAPT. WIN.
I want to join the Marine Corps, but I am from Canada. I've been interested them for the longest time. I am in my teenage years and I plan on someday enlisting. But would me being a Canadian affect that? Could I move and get my citizenship then enlist?
its not that easy to move to the US.... no family members can support and no money to move... i was hoping that the Philippines will be one will the US so they can recruit Filipino again... like the old times 😔

Yeah the tattoo policy is bull shit. You want to be a Marine? cool. Good ASVAB score? Awesome. No criminal history? Outstanding. Any Tattoos? Yes? GTFO!
Richard Nixon I swear bro. The recruiter I was talking to was like "Shit!" After he found out I had one. He even took me back to my artist to try to get it removed
Jenkins about the tattoo? Well the USMC recently had a change in policy regarding tattoos back in June I think. And basically there are specific areas where you can get tattoos. And in my case mine was too close to my wrist. It had to be 2 inches or more above it.
i wanted to open your eyes to another level of training thinking your with me the power i give you the strength by my mutiliation i was skinned alive beheaded castrated dragged down the street by ms 13 until my skin came off still alive and i want you to keep me alive as im with god fighting to keep this under control that i am one and they are killing us through me i ve takin on heavy fire sworn in to prepare us for whats to come i am the oldest skinhead in the world and i am doing everything i can to help i was branded by josh after he skinned me alive branded me with a swastika that showed up on god i was brutally punished on the job smashed by a concrete roller watching the 9-11 attack unfold in my visions i want to continue this as it will make us so strong we are under attack by the weather my time multiplied im very old and i wanted the elders to know how much this means to me they are very special to me and i cant believe these cops and governements beat my grandma for a week shes 98 years old and the cops wont leave her alone
Question... my brother just joined the marines... My husband has been a marine for about 2 years.... Can My brother disrespect my husband?... Or would he get in trouble.
I still want to become a Marine even though I am a diabetic for more than 12 years but that wont stop me but then again I am only 14 and please comment back Marine Corps
We're going to win by spending more time cleaning the barracks every week than training to kill the enemy? If you aren't Recon or Raiders, you couldn't win a gunfight with an empty plastic bag. Those are the only two categories of Marines that get decent training and equipment, and don't spend more time every week cleaning the barracks than sleeping in them. Welcome to the Marine Corps Infantry! The greatest janitors in the world!
🔥A bitching Marine is a healthy Marine. ForReconCo.and these: 'Raiders' didn't always have access to "the best" equipment. And its 'concept' had enemies in Arlington...we survived, Achieved and became celebrated in spite of corporate meddling & smug ignorance. The self-challenge, and self-discipline come in different opportunities.Whatever you do, do it WELL; with all your ❤ and stamina. Work smart;not hard. Smpr Idem;Fratres aeternum... living or "dead" We know Who We are.Character. Dignity.🍀 smile.😬💩
Don't join them, my cousins a military veteran who fought in Iraq, and after retirement he's not being payed enough for sustainable housing. He's barely making it in a small apartment with his wife's salary combined. You will 100% have little to no support after you leave the Marines, they don't consider themselves responsible for you after you've served, and you barely make anything while serving. He also has ptsd, and has to attend extensive therapy daily.
"they didn't join the Marine Corps to sit on their sea bag at camp pendelton"... Ironically that's what you're going to spend the majority of your time doing.. Dipping/Smoking and wondering Why the fuck are we sitting on our seabags in camp pendelton.
