Please restrain from saying that it is Cat noir and not Chat noir. I’m French. It’s Chat Noir. Plus, they should’ve translated the name completely if it really was Cat Noir. I don’t remember seeing any canon evidence that they wrote Cat Noir in the scripts in English.🤷♀️ If they really did, I think they would’ve written Black Cat and not Cat Noir. I mean, what’s the point in translating from French to English if your just gonna do half of the job? I guess they only made it easier for the voice actors to pronounce but trust me, I’m going with the canon and original. So please restrain from making that comment because his name is french and I will stick with what I know.
The creators don’t know much English. I saw them speak English before but it was scripted and they had a very french accent so I doubt that it’s their real instagram.
There is video proof that they don’t really know English. Both of the creators (creator and co-creator). And there is a very reasonable explanation for that. They’re french from France (making it easy for them to do a story in Paris). French people are known not to know much English except for a few who still struggle with it like Squeezie. Me being a Canadian-French, it is easy to learn English since we are surrounded.

I like how they can guess who the villins are in 2 seconds just by a little clue like a chewed sucker stick(S1 E5 Copy Cat) but cant find out who each other are when Marrinette had the clue that Adrian and Cat Noir were alergic to feathers(S1 E2 Mr. Pigeon)+ all of the appearance similarities
I like to think that their Miraculous have some kind of Glamour effect that makes it impossible (unless they are told) to make the connection. An 'on the tip of my tongue' kinda thing. Hawkmoth's powers however, are to give people powers so they can fight for him and doesn't have the same Glamour effect to protect his Akumas from being recognised. Which makes sense. All Hawkmoth cares about is getting the Miraculous, he doesn't care if his victims get recognised and into trouble.
