Fun fact: That "You aren't even subscribed?" Text on average shows up every 18 hours of gameplay. There was absolutely no guarantee it would show up at all during Simpleflip's playthrough.
If you ever make a Chaos 4.0 it should be secretly online, so while you watch the stream you can pick the codes that activate so every time he says ‘tornado’ you can make a tornado. And when he says bomb-om, you can make him explode.
@@bengoodwin2141 You’re correct. It would require a modified emulator or some other external program, which is more work but could definitely be passed off.
simpleflips is one of the most effortlessly funny people I’ve ever watched. some of the shit he says just casually makes me laugh harder than any script could. oracle of comedy
but all of dad's streams are scripted Mario is a paid actor- There's a camera there, there's a camera there, its all just a prank bro, chaos mario 3.0 doesn't even exist
59:59 why is it that whenever that a letsplayer says "hey. watch this" every single time, without fail, they always end up doing something that kills them immediately LMFAO
@@MegaDardery Denial: _"NO I didnt-"_ Anger: _"NO This is bullshit!"_ Bargaining: _"NO This is unfair!"_ Depression: _"STOP Someone- Someone help me!"_ Acceptance: Him just laughing at his suffering
It’s a good day when dad gets off work early to play with his 250,000 children Edit: There’s something absolutely hysterical about Mario jumping into a wooden tree clock, him exploding randomly, and Koopa the Quick taunting him from out of nowhere, THEN Mario dies, spawns outside, and the victory theme plays (2:05:50 for those wondering)
For the people that haven't watched the streams, either live or on the second channel, this run took almost 16 HOURS total to complete (over the course of 5 streams)!! Kaze gave it all on this version, and Simple pulled through. The mental strength and patience to constantly put up with the game being total chaos, and get all 120, this man deserves a medal!!
1:00:50 The answer to that riddle is “virtual particles.” They make up all of the background energy of the universe and can appear literally anywhere. At the same time, they aren’t present in any material capacity, and thus don’t exist. They are in equilibrium because if they weren’t, the universe would have formed into something very different. I have answered your riddle, dad. Please come home.
Yeah, the Chaos Mario purge was hella brutal, but we all got thru it somehow Even Kaze who watched his first two children get cruelly beaten by bups is getting therapy, its nice
So, I finally tried Mario 64 Chaos for myself. I couldn't even get to the Big Bob-omb, let alone get his star. Simple's on another level of patience and determination.
I come back to this video at least once a month and every time I'm just in awe of the stretch of gameplay from 2:11:37 to 2:12:49. The level is beyond destroyed, there's almost no way to tell what's happening, but you schmooved yourself to 44 coins and only died because your wing cap code ran out
14:55 There probably is a correlation. There are two I can think of. 1. Jolly Roger Bay is very calming and the music a little mystical and mysterious, which makes people withdraw and become thoughtful. This leads people to come up with strange ideas and conundrums as their creativity gets flowing. 2. Jolly Roger Bay is the stage with the most memes attached to it, which may put people into a meme-y mood. This leads people to come up with strange ideas and conundrums, but this time specifically designed to make someone laugh. Also, Jolly Roger Bay has the slowest pace of any stage. It doesn't take the longest, but it has the longest periods of relative downtime. This results in time where chat members are left to think for a while. Combined with one of the two possible correlations above, it helps explain why chat comes up with weird conundrums during Jolly Roger Bay specifically. Keep in mind this is just a hypothesis. An actual experiment would need to be run to make any definitive statements.
1:58:55 Simple is right that whenever a star spawns from the randomized ground textures code, it is Star #2 in the current stage (including stages like Vanish Cap that don't have a Star #2), however it isn't because Koopa the Quick is set as Star #2 in BoB, but rather because the

Oh, I absolutely love the Chaos 2.0 supercut. Easily my most watched video on the channel. I don't have time to watch this one right now, but I'm very excited to watch it later. What I can do though, is pre-emptively like and comment. Also, shoutout to the entire team for back to back super-videos!
I just want to mention that this video somehow inexplicably enlightened me to the fact that the music on the star select screen in SM64 is the actual true origin of the infamous "bah" sample used in every NSMB game ever holy crap
All of this long content from dad is making me *knit* That's not a typo, I finished the sleeve on fluffy pink sweater yesterday while watching the 2 hour Walkies lol
2:02:34 as a YTPer, I can confirm that chaos mario 64 is like a youtube poop in gameplay form (that may actually be the most accurate possible description for it)
The random peach lines crack me up everytime they happen. There was a point in stream 2 where it made it sound like he said “I’m alive for Mario”. I also found 1:00:01 hilarious for some reason
31:54 I have a story for that one actually, when I was a kid, on that exact same level I was trying to touch the butterflies because I thought "hey what if I can grab one or maybe get a coin" or something like that, and that's when one of those little fucks blew me up, that scare gave me a little trauma and started running away from butterflies, even today I get bad vibes whenever I'm close them.
Dear SimpleFlips, It was overa DECADE ago when i first discovered your content on RU-vid. As insignificant as this might seem, as a fan, I would be remiss not to inform you that it was far more powerful for me. Ive been an introvert struggling with depression and anxiety my whole life. It was bad enough as a kid, but as an adult i have to spend a third of my life actually working and participating in a world that ive never felt a part of. Like most introverts i just wanna be left alone. And id hold a job for a few months, but it would always end the same. Anxiety would eventually cause me to self-destruct. Until one day i said screw it and just gave up. I was actually homeless living in a shelter when i saw your halloween hack. It was a new competition back then, and i nearly died laughing at your intentional mispronounciation of the word "EPITOME". I was instantly hooked. I started watching everyday. At the time i was just happy to have something to watch. Little did i know that watching your videos was providing me with the structure and routine (and laughter) that helps to cope with anxiety and depression. Slowly and surely i crawled up from the depths of existence. I got a job and devoted the daily 8hr requirement of my life to earning a living, and the only different thing in my life was watching your videos. Somehow 8hrs went by faster. Somehow the anxiety wasnt making me physically ill everytime i interacted with the world. Somehow, things were different. Different, for the better. It sure felt great. I am not a Dr. Nor am i in anyway qualified to speak on anything but myself and my experiences. All i am is eternally greatful for your content. I firmly believe that watching your videos provided me with something i was lacking. And for that i will be ETERNALLY grateful, even if i cant specify or pinpoint what it is your content provides. There is a magic about you Mr.Flips. A magic that even other streamers lack. Thank you for that magic sir, as well as the genuine love you show your fans. The world is a better place because you're in it.✌️
I am very grateful for your words and it's clear as day that the hardship you faced has turned you into an extremely strong individual. Continue riding the wave and seeing the world with the appreciation you do, and I firmly believe the best the world has to offer is just starting for you. ❤️
Dude I powered through all the streams while they were being broadcast, all except that last one. The slow motion Slide Theme that plays in TTC and RR, where it gets all stretched and drawn out - I have never had a piece of music made me feel instantly nauseous like that does now. So difficult to listen to, idk how you do it dad x"D Excellent streams and excellent video though
