Meh, I didn't pick it up simply because I thought the graphics were worse than past games (excluding the giant fights, of course). Should I pick it up eventually?

LordKraken3 It depends. If you like long games than there's a plus since it lasts from 30 to 40 hours. Complaints with it are that it drags at times, there is a lot of dialogue, and too many tutorials especially at the beginning of the game. I thought it was very good and worth the price since its pretty cheap but those things hold it back a bit.

I like more the graphics of the other games... only because i dont like THIS 3D. But... I dont see the history... Hmm...

Latte really I didn’t find the motion controls in the bowser fight bad. It was in the zeekeeper fight it was unbearable in. It damages you so much and it’s even still hard to tell when you should move sometimes. And if you fail to dodge it, it DELETES a quarter of your health bar.

Paper jam is way better in how it handles it's flow. Far less backtracking. a harder base difficulty, a way better flowing giant battle system. And less tutorials, not to mention no gimmick gyro controls. Paper jam just feels more fun to play. But story and character wise I totally agree. Let's hope M&L 5 will have both

People didn't like sticker star because, well, over used Toad NPCS, different fighting mechanics, and not that much story. Now, not that much story, I'm used to that. The Mario games usually just have as the story "Princess Peach has been captured by Bowser and you need to get her back!" I don't care about over used NPCS either. And if the fighting mechanics are different than other Paper Mario games, that doesn't mean that it's not fun. I will probably enjoy Color Splash as well! (That is, when I get it.) Look, people are different, ok?

MattTheMan2708 Godly as in good? Or godly as in bad? To me the soundtrack was ehhhh. I think Bowser's Inside Story has the best music in the series. Actually besides the battle system (Which is ALMOST perfect, as explained in my first post), I think Bowser's Inside Story is the best installment.

StacheBros Godly as in perfection. Personally, I feel as Dream Team has the best soundtrack of any game ever. Bowser's Inside Story's soundtrack is the 'ehhhh' one for me. Blubble Lake and The Final Battle were the only two that stood out to me as being simply amazing; whereas Dream Team has Never Let Up, Victory in the Dream World, Size Up Your Enemy, Breezy Mushrise Park, Sunny Driftwood Shore, Dreamy Somnom Labyrinth, The Final Antasma Battle and Adventure's End. Sorry if I sound like I'm fanboying here but I really love Dream Team's Music, as I do with the entire game. It's probably my 3rd favourite Mario game of all time. Bowser's Inside Story I'd say would be 6th or 7th (I honestly can't decide between that one and Superstar Saga).

I agree, AWESOME music, but I think they should've made it a little longer. When I sometimes battle Antasma X, the music kinda gets annoying sometimes since it's so short.

How? It's real world mario in the dream world. He doesn't get affected by the dream world steroids( definitely shown in Antasma's final fight when dreamy Luigi is sapped from mario) so mario mainly relies on Luigi.

After playing through and beating Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, I'm here to update my list, while giving reasons why I like them. 4. Mario and Luigi Partners in Time Found it to be tedious after a while, and it was quite short, short but sweet! I enjoyed the music and some of the bosses (although I was really overleveled) but I still enjoyed it quite a lot. 3. Mario and Luigi Dream Team This game, IS REALLY LONG, in a good way, the fight mechanics were fun, with the rank up bonuses being challenging to chose which one I want, and the giant battles! All of it was a really fun experiance 2. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga THIS GAME. While playing a blind playthrough, I had no idea what to expect, I thought it would be ehhhh? But I was so wrong! The battles are really fun to play, especially the Popple battles. I really thought the game was charming, the humor was great! And I found to stay in one area just to listen to the music. This game you need to try out! 1. Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story I LOVE THIS GAME. This is one of the best M&L RPG'S yet! Really fun battles, excellent music, and some very great giant battles you have to give this game a try! This game along with SS, is very charming and humorous. Did I mention Bowser was in it? YES, BOWSER. Bowser battles are very strange, but they make it work very well. To sum it up. I LOVE THESE GAMES.

Similarly, the Tower of Yikk is a giant building robot, while Earthwake is a giant robot made of buildings. Dream Team giant battles are similar in some way(s) to those of Bowser's Inside Story. Robo-Drilldigger is a giant robot version of the Drilldigger mining tools. Super Peach's Castle OF FURY is Peach's Castle turned giant robot. Mount Pajamaja is similar to the hill monster from the Fawful Express battle, in that both are living landmasses with arms. The Zeekeeper, similarly to Bowser's Castle, is always flying. Finally, the obvious. Giant Bowser is Giant. Fucking. BOWSER.
