***** I sure hope to God so, as Rosalina is my favorite video game character of all time. :3 Also, playing as Dry Bowser in any event would be very Badass. I wonder if the Wii U version will have a story mode. I REALLY hope that there is a party mode like in Mario and Sonic London 2012. I also hope that they include the slide remix from Mario and Sonic Sochi 2014 in the game. I can't wait to see what musical remixes of Mario soundtracks we will get in Mario and Sonic 2016 Wii U.
Gamefreak10124 If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say the 3DS version is going to be a tide-me-over until we get the Wii U version, kinda like the latest Smash Bros.
***** Pretty much. I know unlike Smash Bros. I won't be getting the 3DS version of this game. I wonder what Amiibo will do in the Wii U version. It only makes good business sense for Nintendo to incorporate some sort of Amiibo functionality into the Wii U version of the game, so I am fully expecting that they will do something with them. Maybe if we're lucky we will see more of the Wii U version of the game from this year's E3. I hope that it will have the Rhythmic Ribbon like Mario and Sonic 2012, I love playing the hell out of that game. It was tedious, but I actually 100 percented Mario and Sonic 2012.
Limited character selection notwithstanding, the game certainly looks like it's quite fun...and looks like it has some improvement to the London 2012 equivalent.
Exactly, she is very random which makes her funny in Sonic Boom, she's adorable too. I just wish they actually got her to say complete sentences like all of the other Sonic characters, she was just making weird noises.
There should to be a easter egg where if Diddy Kong and Sonic are both in the same race or any other event and Diddy comes in first place and Sonic comes in 4th place, there's a reference to DKC2 at the "Cranky's video game heroes" when the game was making fun of Sonic with the shoes and the "No hopers" sign. That would make me laugh.

I wouldn't say Gamma would make a return, after the "ending" to the story back in Sonic Adventure. Chaos I can kind of see. But maybe one reason why Sticks is in this game is because.... The sticks love is real.
Sticks sounds different. I think they gave her the Japanese Anime Girl treatment. But Silver's in the game, and as long as Silver's in, I buy it. But Sticks wasn't that good of a choice. They could have chose Tikal or Maria, or even Elise would be a better character. And Elise was the main reason I hated 06.
Nintendo / Sega did only 2 things wrong with this game: 5 - 6 characters to each sport and not enough events / sports like the 2008 and 2012 game which had more than this.

That sounds absolutely nothing like Sticks. They couldn't afford to get the voice actress, i am guessing. She just doesn't make little noises like that, complete sentences that make no sense is her thing.
+marco paolucci No , The only different voices are for the SEGA characters because they are in japanese , all the Mario Characters have the same voices in all the regions since most of them speak english. What you hear right here it's Rosalina from Mario Kart 8.
Why Zavok, Zazz and Sticks? I'd have put Storm, Charmy and Marine there instead, to complete teams Babylon, Chaotix and Dimension respectively (Team Dimension is Blaze, Silver and Marine, at least for me).
