The "legit speedrun" animations' title, is I think a reference to Scott Falco's animations. Specifically his Totally Legit animation series, that most of the time, are of Any% speedrun routes, and reflect that with the speedrun tricks in the animations, while exaggerating the route for jokes, while the characters in the game are aware of all the weird nonsense done in those games' speedrun routes, though Team Level Up's take on that idea is pretty much all exaggerations of the game with little to no actual relevance to how the actual Any% Speedrun routes are handled. Instead of the full on regular animations Scott Falco does for his Totally Legit series, Team Level Up does their usual animation style, that using sprites. If anyone reading this comment is expecting Scott Falco to do more full on animation videos, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but he seems to be mostly a streamer now, as what he calls a "Toontuber", his variation of the V-tuber avatar idea

The first one is actually a reference to another level up video... it's a showoff between two popular videos with a opposing concept basically Also couldn't forget the dance dancing beefio
Since Mario's "red spread" after getting hit by the Goombas doing a Spin Dash, is either close to, or exactly the same red color of his clothes, so, you COULD make the assumption (more like mandatory deception), that the "red stuff", was just shreds of his clothes after getting hit, as it spread fast. It's not like the things dripped out gradually.
Another GREAT video Darby, it's always a good day when you upload, and could you possibly react to a Level up video called I animated your Mario ideas! thanks if you can.
Hey Darby, love the reaction videos and I think you would like to know "What bowser does whilst waiting for Mario". That is a pretty cool level up video. Also this as is a Dorkly react but do you know of the super secret level n Super Mario Bros as well as in Green Hill Zone.
Secret Code: Dance Dance! King Julien from DreamWorks' Madagascar: [enters the scene] I like to move it move it. I like to move it move it. I like to move it move it. You like to... All others who are partying: ...Move it! Video Point: End of video.
Can you react to something about super mario world speed run by terminal montage? It’s my favorite episode and I think you’ll like him as much as Level Up!
Hello to Darby, Goomba, and Beefio! Proud subscriber for at least 2 years now. It's been fun seeing yours and Goomba's reactions to those Level Up videos. Oh, and "Dance Dance".
Beefio !#18:52 spoooooky! Really enjoyed this reaction video Darby! Have you played When Note Blocks become 1000x more dangerous in Super Mario Bros. by level up? Thanks for an awesome Job!!!!!Dance Dance!!!!
I did not know that the goomba revolution is heading to the donkey kong world next because me and my little brother thought they we're going to the kirby world next😅😊.
If you are going to make this an ongoing series, my suggestion would be “Super Mario Bros Cubed”. It’s a bit more tame compared to some of the other videos you’ve seen so far. It’s actually what got me into Level Up in the first place.
Darby, speaking as an avowed dog person, the sight of your adorable doggy lying contentedly in your arms gives me a major case of the "Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwseseses." Give Goomba some extra belly and ear rubs for me.
There is a Super Mario Bros. 2 speedrun video in the same format as those other two you watched. However, I am going to warn you, Darby, that there is quite a suggestive moment at one point in the video (more so than Mario being turned into ketchup repeatedly), so I highly recommend you skip past it if it comes up.
@@BlueTelevisionGames Mhm. To give you a heads-up, it's to do with Mario going into a cave to find Blue Toad doing... something... with a pink shroom in said cave.
btw, that level where Mario shoots himself to summon statue Mario and he's against some moving in place tank? That's a reference to Persona 3, where the player and their team shoots themselves with what's called an "Evoker", which looks like a gun, to summon their Persona briefly, which is, as Igor from Persona 3 puts it: "the manifestation of the human psyche", and that tank moving in place is a reference to an actual boss enemy you fight in Persona 3. Also, any kids reading this comment, don't look up Persona, or any Shin Megami Tensei games for that matter till you grow up, they are mature rated games that clearly are aimed at adults with their content.
That rock cover of some Mario Galaxy song? I cannot hear that song in any form, without hearing in my head Peanutbuttergamer's lyrics for that song in his Mario Galaxy hacking video.
