MARIO.EXE GAMES YOU CAN'T PLAY ANYMORE 

Funny how nowadays most of the "jumpscares" in .exe games are just random sounds with the occasional visual jumpscare, but back then it was what ever sound file sounded like it could give the most "fear" paired with either stolen/uncredited fanart or photos of gore and mangled corpses. That being said, WHAT THE EVER LIVING *FUCK* WAS THE CREATOR OF MARIO3.EXE *THINKING* WHEN THEY MADE THAT GAME!? Sure Rene censored the gore and what not, but I would be questioning about my morals if I decided to make a .exe that had nothing but jumpscares of gore and mangled corpses paired with mediocre gameplay. Just... WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!? The 2010s sure were a wild time for .EXE creators, for both those who made the games and for those like Rene who played and recorded them for everyone to watch. The nostalgia is definitely real with these. The Yoshi.EXE game definitely struck a core memory seeing it. Way before I actually had a RU-vid account and before I even had a personal E-mail account to use for my 3DS and Wii U. Can't wait to see what old .EXE games you dig up from your old laptop Rene.

I’m gonna be honest, most old EXE games weren’t good. If they didn’t use the standard formula, they used the Nightmare Saga formula, which got stale quickly. Things really went uphill after PC Port, since after that people started making good, creative EXE takes.
