As someone who has been hit in the face with a golf ball and broke a tooth as a result, I'm really cringing at Spencer not having a face shield or helmet. I had to have an emergency nerve extraction and root canal and now have an artificial tooth permanently mounted in my mouth

I was thinking the exact same thing. Should've given the poor guy a mask, and I hope he was wearing a cup and some pads under that costume. The goggles, they do nothing!

I agree with Tommy. I don't think turning it to be used "like a hammer" should be legal. If nothing else, they should've given him a redo to try it the same way the other two did.
I can’t believe they sent Spencer out there with just a pair of lab safety glasses and called it a day🙈 I would’ve been out there in full baseball catcher regalia! I hope he’s wearing padding under that costume and they have some killer health insurance
so i like smosh, PLEASE KEEP YOUR PEOPLE SAFE! even if it was soft balls, any hit to the head can cause injury, that he wasnt wearing a proper helmet is bothering. Especially since i like the people at smosh, so seeing you getting hurt, or putting yourself in uneccesary risk is not fun. so it is not only for yourself why you should be careful, but to everyone watching aswell. Proper protection, Proper gear SMOSH!
Round 1 is so incredibly reckless and I'm so thankful Spencer didn't die. Might want to invest a little more time and money on safety in future videos guys

People dislikes this video, because poor Spencer got hurt. I'm sure Anthony must be watching this video and be like, "At times like this, I really missed the old Smosh. But overall, despite the dislikes, it was actually a fun video. P.s. no rice cakes were harmed in the making of this video.
Someday Spencer will gather his grandkids around the fireplace and tell them the tale of the day he stood in a park in an inflatable costume with a Boo face drawn on it in sharpie only to be pegged with golf balls... all for work. Then his grandkids will tell their parents grandpa has dementia.
