Well Charging Chuck IS Based off of a Quarterback. . . If Charging Chuck could come back; Why can't MORE Games reference Super Mario World. . . I Mean; I'd LOVE to see the return of the Cape Feather in a Main Series Mario game. . . ESPECIALLY A 2D Side-scroller

-Nongeneric courses with Mario obstacles on them -different game modes that look really fun -unique story mode bosses that aren't just a normal battle against another character -spinning Waluigi Alright I'm sold
I dont know about non-generic. The one thing I dont like about this game is the courses ARE generic. Random forest, random desert, random everything and then a creature from the mushroom kingdom looking way out of place. Everything else looks fantastic but theres no reason this game shouldnt be set in the mushroom kingdom itself.
I was always confused why the guy characters didnt put on a tight suit, as that's what they do In real life (yes I know the actual reason is hornyness, like how fantasy species are like "big disgusting orc thing" and "women but green")

I love the trend of these Mario spinoff titles having that one completely random and out-of-the-blue playable character. Monty Mole in Mario Party, Chain Chomp in Mario Tennis, and now freaking Chargin' Chuck in Mario Golf. It's truly incredible.
I love how enemies like Chargin' Chuck and King Bob-omb are playable in this game. It's nice to see characters who are usually portrayed as Bowser's henchmen get some representation in The Mushroom Kingdom.

One thing I noticed during the overview of the courses in 2:01; All of the holes are in one big map as opposed to be in separate areas! Which is great because: 1.) Real World Golf Courses are designed that way 2.) Considering how Speed Golf works, it makes sense to have wide open spaces! And of course there the matter of the courses of Hot Shots Golf for the PS4! (Now called by its original Japanese name, Everybody’s Golf!
They have been making Mario sports games since 1995. How is it that Chargin Chuck, the sports themed Mario character, has never been playable in one of them until now?
To be fair, Chargin' Chuck had a *very* long absence from the Mario universe in general after his debut in Super Mario World all the way back in '91. Aside from the GBA remake of Super Mario World and an e-Reader level in the GBA version of Super Mario Bros. 3, Chargin' Chucks didn't appear again until Super Mario 3D World in 2012.
I know you could capture one in Odyssey, but a fully playable Chargin' Chuck for the first time in a spin-off is surprising to see. It's always cool to see who's going to be the next Mario enemy that's going to be playable, like with Chain Chomp in Mario Tennis Aces.
the problem with the Chain Chomp is....... *_Who thought that was a good Idea?_* of all the characters in mario history that has hands and they use a Ball and Chain dog with no hands 😐 (Hammer bro exists, ect ect...) I expected the chain chomp to be in mario kart first, not a sports game

OMG I was already interested in this game because of it being Mario Golf but Speed Golf and Battle Golf takes it to a whole other level. This might be the best Mario Golf game ever. It’s basically Mario Golf with a sprinkle of Mario Kart. What a pleasant surprise.
This absolutely will be the best Mario Speed Golf game ever. Unfortunately for those of us who have waited 7 years for a Mario GOLF game, this does not appear to be all that concerned with actual golf. All the characters hit it straight as an arrow, and 2/5ths of the attributes for the characters is devoted to Speed Golf, which isn't Golf. They turned the game in to a racing game to the detriment of the actual GOLFING!
@@christopherchristakis1223 still looks really fun. We don’t really know how the vainilla golfing will be, as they seem to be pushing the extra modes a ton more in marketing (which makes sense as it makes the title stand up more).
I was JUST saying to myself “We know next to nothing about Mario Golf: Super Rush. When are we going to get more information?” This looks really awesome.

The pre-purchase bonus pack for the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity expansion pass comes out in four days. We know it will add a new outfit and weapon type for Link, but we haven’t gotten any new information yet on what they are.
@@unionjack0638 tbh its true, but only to the minority that said "This game has to be good if these characters are in it" besides that, I believe it's because we generally need more characters. (And idk if it's just me or is the roster small? gameplay, fantastic, roster, eh)
Seriously, Mario Tennis Aces was such a rushed souless game. And this is coming from someone who adores the Mario Tennis franchise. I've played every MT game for hundreds of hours each, especially Power Tour. Why couldn't the switch get a similar RPG approach?! It would be freaking heaven! But instead, they opted for gimmicky-heavy gameplay and a quickly jumbled up mess of a story line.

Wii Sports was Remastered for the WiiU. They updated the resolution and added online functionality (best thing ever). The Remaster was released 30th October 2013 under the name "Wii Sports Club"
4:26 wait you’re telling me Paper Mario: The Origami King cannot have unique designs such as Koopas wearing cloaks to worship the Earth Vellumental, but it’s a-ok for unique Koopa designs in this game?
This looks like an in-house Nintendo title, as opposed to a second-party like the Paper Mario games. Nintendo forbids second-parties from messing with the designs of established characters (only allowing all-new characters). Basically 'It's okay if we do it'.
@@AlienOvan It’s actually being developed by Camelot. The same developers who have made Mario Tennis and Golf games since the Nintendo 64. And last time I checked, they are a second party developer for Nintendo. So to force a mandate on Intelligent Systems to not give established characters unique designs is a double standard. (Or someone in Nintendo must really hate the original Paper Mario games).
@@MrGojira95 I'm assuming you've probably watched it, but Ceave Gaming put out a video about Nintendo killing Paper Mario earlier this year. It doesn't exactly cover your points, but it does cover how Nintendo is really trying to kill that series
Idk why people keep saying this, there were a bunch of generic Koopas, Toads etc wearing clothes in Origami King Putting a shirt and a hat in a generic enemy and calling them "Koopa Master" doesnt make it a "full unique design"

I rented Mario Gold on the GameCube, and it was the blandest Mario Sport's game at the time. But I'm glad they were able to find a way to make it more fun with this incarnation.
