This is going to be a PERFECT mario kart game! They fixed everything that was wrong with the original and then some! Battle mode, holding 2 items, plus the new characters, courses, and items. And I personally love the steering assist for when I'm playing with my 6 year old, this is gonna be GREAT!

Even though I have the original, I have to say Mario kart 8 deluxe is definitely worth it. More additional content, and Mario kart 8 is portable, and on the switch. One of the best switch games out there

I owned the game on Wii U but considering it lacked the true portability and I know people that didn't buy the Wii U? I am willing to pay for the game again myself, The Wii U was not a popular console so many people will be buying MK8 for the first time ever.
