Tip 1:If you press ZR at the edge of a ramp or when you bounce you get a tiny boost. Edit: Most Mario Kart games don't have double item boxes exept for double dash and MK8 Deluxe however there is no double item box in Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U

You can also drift by holding ZR and using the left joystick to steer your drifting. That was amazing at the end of Rainbow Road! 😂😂😂

Awesome new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe video! BTW, another tip: you can also get an extra boost by pressing the drift button as you jump on trampolines or other objects that make you bounce, and right when you jump off of ramps and gliding ramps.

hello man! it’s been a while. love the energy in this video! thanks for an amazing job.

Some tips for you: 1. You don't have to drive normally, you can use the R button and the Left Stick to drift and take tighter turns. 2. When on a ramp, you can press the R button to do a jump boost and go faster. 3. You can press the R button to hop when you don't have an item and hopping left and right at the end of the track is a bit faster. 4. Whenever you have a glider, try to land on the ground as fast as you can because driving is faster than gliding. I used these things to help me beat all of the ghosts in Time Trials and get the Gold Tires. If you beat Mirror on all the cups and get at least 1 star, you can get the Gold Kart. If you get 1 star or more on all of the cups in 200cc, then you get Gold Mario. By earning 5000 coins (just play the game a bunch), you get the Gold Glider. I hope these tips will help!

That’s a Mini-Turbo, and that’s how you make drifting faster without making it less efficient. If you keep drifting, the blue sparks will turn to orange, and then purple. These are the Super and Ultra Mini-Turbos and orange gives you a longer boost then blue, while purple gives you the longest boost of them all. But the ending of Rainbow Road was amazing 🙃

Press the R button when you're going off a ramp or bouncing to do tricks. That time you hit the R button on a ramp in Rainbow Road was probably because you hit it too early or too late. Hit it at the exact moment you go off the ramp. Drifting is also done using R. How long you hold a drift will determine how long the boost you get. There are three tiers of sparks: Blue-Mini Turbo, Orange-Super Mini Turbo, Purple-Ultra Mini Turbo. Also, that 2D Bowser you saw in Bone Dry Dunes was his glider.

Hold the R button to drift and press R during a jump (you can aim which wag u jump, pointing joystick up will make you do front roll, left/right for side) for tricks that will give u boost

To answer the question "Why Bowser and Peach are always behind you ?" : The game uses rubber band AI. Basically, every characters are paired up with one or two pre-determined drivers called rivals. They are set to be a major obstacle with advantages (like being faster) to prevent players getting too far ahead during the course. For example, if you choose Mario as your character, either Bowser or Peach will be the "rival". If you play as Bowser, then you will compete against Mario and/or Luigi. This system is only in the Grand Prix mode, with no other purpose than providing more challenge.

I have 7 tips for you 1. You can do a trick by pressing R at the edge of a ramp 2. You can hold an item behind you by holding down the L button 3. You can attack in front or back by pushing the L stick in that direction right before you use the item (only works for some items)hen 4. When using glider you can move L stick up or down to change how far you go with the glider 5. there are secret paths in most tracks, you can use them to go faster but some require mushrooms to use 6. You can use X to look backwards and help aim items at people behind you 7. You can hold R on a turn to drift-once you drift long enough you get a speed boost that slowly upgrades (Blue->Orange->Purple

Only get 10 coins for each round and not a lot just 10

Mario Kart Basics: - On the edge of a ramp, press the right trigger to do a boost - Hold the right trigger to skid. When the skid mark on the back right wheel turns blue, you get a small boost. Hold the skid for longer to turn it orange and get a better boost. You want the speed to be high, acceleration to be high, The weight of your vehicle and racer dictates whether you'll knock someone out of the way, or get knocked out of the way when you hit another racer, so this is for you to decide how heavy, handling shows how sharp you turn, to this is another opinion-based one, and traction/grip is how fast you move on ice and sand/snow. - Hold the item trigger to keep an item behind you, but when you let go, the item will be thrown. Holding the item behind you allows for shells to be stopped when they are going to hit your car, so a banana or another shell is good for first place to stop red shells. - The red horn power up is good for blocking blue shells. Use the power up when the blue shell is above your kart. - Pick up plenty of coins. The more you get, the faster you go. Coins also unlock more vehicle customisations, with the last one being at 3100 coins. Each 30 coins gets you a new part, but changes to 50, then 100 per part. - The little blue & black things in the middle of different-gravity tracks (when your wheels turn sideways) give boosts when you bump into them from the side.
