After playing MK8DX for over 300 hours, seeing gameplay of and playing this version just feels so surreal, it feels like a completely different game compared to 8 Deluxe

I had extreme nostalgia with the N64 yoshi valley and rainbow road. That is so cool

I remember how i would play this for HOURS on end. Also thanks for no commentary

The loading time is the only flaw I see. Everything else looks fabulous.

0:34 With the amount of base tracks the game has along with the Wii U DLCs, and with 48 tracks coming through the Booster Course Pass to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, seeing this is already strange to me, since it was always a standard to have 32 tracks. But now that we're getting almost 100 total tracks in MK8D, it feels empty to see that original selection.

While watching your video,I eventually did something that I'm sure just about everyone has done at some point with RU-vid gaming videos (pretend you're the gamer). What struck me when I did that is that you (inbetweengamer) play Mario Kart 8 at a style DIRECTLY IDENTICAL to mine. You play SO MUCH LIKE ME,that for the majority of this video,it felt almost as though I was the one controlling. One of the most exciting videos I have ever PLAYED....get it? LOL! Like me,you're a Mario Kart Legend,inbetweengamer!! I hope to get a chance at playing against you some time. This causes it dawn on me though....mind control games would be EPIC!!!

Epic run man very very well done. Had a laugh when you were beeping the horn's prior to the races starting how the npc drivers were all hopping. Also did you know that they had released 2 new cups for download the egg cup and triforce cup those are a blast also. Great run ya got yourself a new sub.

Jeez- I forgot about back before there was any DLC and you had to unlock cups and characters

I wish you explored more routes when playing each race instead of taking the same way each lap, it wouldve made it more interesting.

I'm curious about a couple of things. What are the coins for? Why can't you hold 2 items at once? You could in the original AMrio Cart.
