Combo mode, where you put in items which can be used to combo people, like triple reds

One video idea. Try to get first place on hard bots, any races other than baby park, 200cc, team game, your team’s item’s: coin. Other teams item: shock, blue shell and bullet bill. It’s basically you battling bots and trust me I tried this and it took me a lot of attempts to get first place on that challenge.

Troy, you should do a PUSH THE ITEM BUTTON tournament! All items, and only items, that you have to press more than once: - Green shells, red shells, bananas, and mushrooms are banned, but their triples are allowed - Boomerang, piranha plant, fire flower, and golden mushroom are multi-use items, so they’re allowed - Crazy 8 is multiple items, so it’s allowed - Everything else is one single-use item, and thus, is banned!

20:23 That's the fun part: you can't softdrift with the D-Pad. The D-Pad can't reach the angle needed to softdrift, which is just below 75 degrees. In 8u however you could softdrift with the D-Pad since the softdrift angle in that game was 75 degrees.

Whoa, since when did Mario Kart 8 have a full on Yoshi's Island track?! That's freaking awesome! It's such a great tribute too. I was not expecting that for a booster course. I'm surprised it never came to my attention until now.

If you really wanted a tournament to make everyone cry, shells-only would truly be awful lol. Tons of reds and smart bouncing greens to ruin your day and, of course, an unavoidable blue.

The Garrett locomotive would be a 4-8-2+2-8-4. 4 lead, 8 drive, 2 trail, plus to denote different frames, 2 "lead," 8 drive, 4 "trail." Quotes because literally it's like you said: two 4-8-2 back to back, but it's noted from front to back.

Rock Rock Mountain looks objectively bad though. Those long, boring glider sections really allow you to take in the plastic-looking scenery.

I always spam Piranha Plants because they aren't very useful and take up an item slot. There's not much strategy to be done.

40:51 On the topic of simplistic textures, I think the problem with the booster courses is not just the textures, but the shaders. The lighting in these booster tracks looks less interesting. I find it's not as dynamic, and they tracks are generally too bright and pastel-y. I think the combination of those two aspects makes for a noticeably lower quality look.
