I have a theory for this track it it returns in the booster course pass. It (or mushroom city) has been leaked for tour so if it's in 8 deluxe, this could be the next Kalimari Desert/Peach Gardens twist track: Lap 3 - the pipe "shortcut" will actually be an essential part of the track but this time the pipe faces backwards and sends you driving the whole track backwards towards ONCOMING traffic as opposed to driving with traffic in the previous laps. You also are required to drive over the bridge archs in the final lap!
I have Proof that Mushroom Bridge is coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC in the future. 1- There was an unused model for a bomb car that suddenly vanished from the game’s files with the release of Wave 1 (sounds pretty sneaky) 2- Four GCN tracks were confirmed to be coming to the DLC from a prefix leak. Mushroom Bridge was also Datamined to be coming to MKT a while ago, Lining up with the Datamine and the missing bomb car. 3- if you don’t believe In Leaks and datamines, look at this. Mushroom City feels too similar to New York minute, Neo Bowser City, and Toad Turnpike. Also, we’re getting about 13 City Courses from MKT so, why do we need another one that has a very similar atmosphere to 3 other night cities? I could be entirely wrong, but Leaks point toward mushroom bridge being added
I mean, how the hell you expect them to fit like 6 gigs worth of content on that small of a cartridge? Plus, no one ever used the sidewalks AND driving up the bridge would be a free invite to death.
Viniendo a dejar mi cápsula del tiempo: Espero que esta pista realmente esté en MarioKart 8 deluxe después de su inclusión en Tour. Y que la música sea buena!
Dude, this track had all the pieces for an amazing BCP remake. Simple but really fun track design, amazing soundtrack with lots of potential for a great remix, hell, it could've even got the Kalimari Desert/Peach Gardens treatment, with the pipe at the beginning shooting you out backwards. It could've been really great. So why did we not get it, Nintendo? They remade it in Tour, and it was honestly a pretty good remake in that game. My only theory was that it might've been too similar to Moonview Highway, (which honestly, as much as I love Moonview, Bridge was more deserving), but I don't see that being much of a problem. Plus, they added Daisy Circuit, which was not only much more boring, but that was the EIGHTH Wii track they added in the BCP. We only had 3 from Double Dash, and we didn't need Daisy Circuit. Wii was way too overrepresented and we should've gotten more from DS, 7, and especially Double Dash. Really hope Mushroom Bridge (and possibly City) comes back in the next game.
