Also the reason Tour nitros aren’t considered “Tour” because I think the reason MK called it Mario Kart Tour is to make the city tracked have its retro name code called Tour making it look like it’s saying your TOURing the cities like Tour Madrid or Tour Singapore, but if they put tour for the nitros, it would be weird TOURing a bathroom or TOURing Merry Mountain since they aren’t landmarks
If the graphics of all the BCP courses were on par with the base game graphics, my sister and I have always had the same opinion. _ANY_ course being added would have been good. Because, to us, even the "boring" courses, like DS Yoshi Falls would probably have looked amazing graphically.
In term of Bower's Castle tracks, if the next game doesn't have GCN and/or Wii, I might riot. In terms of Rainbow Road, I'm rooting for GBA and GCN. GBA because so much can be done with it, as it is still a completely flat track. And Airship Fortress... AIRSHIP FORTRESS! If we don't get f***ing Airship Fortress... If I could choose any 12 retro tracks (excluding MK8 ones) to be in the next game, they'd probably have to be: - N64 Wario Stadium (For my OCD. There's only ONE left. Also, it's pretty empty, leaving lot of room for improvement. - Wii Bowser's Castle - Wii Toad's Factory - GBA Rainbow Road - GBA Broken Pier (Or Sunset Wilds, only if the sunset is properly included.) - GBA Bowser Castle 4 - GCN Bowser's Castle - GCN Wario Colosseum - GCN Rainbow Road - DS Airship Fortress - 3DS Wario Shipyard - Tour Piranha Plant Pipeline (Imagine if the whole time you're underground, it's anti-grav letting you go on the ceiling, and allowing you to do loops.)
As far as I’m concerned, there are 4 tracks that are guaranteed to return in Mario kart 9. N64 wario stadium, tour piranha plant pipeline, gba rainbow road, and 3DS maka wuhu. It’s also interesting to note that the gba special cup is the only (non mk8) nitro cup with none of its tracks remade (outside of tour). And counterpoint for mushroom bridge being cancelled from BCP, I actually think it’s much more likely mushroom city is the one that was cancelled.
I know for certain Maka Wuhu is returning next game because in the past, the final track that is in each Star Cup since Double Dash (with the exception of SC) later became the 3rd track in a future Lightning Cup (Ex. DK Mountain, Airship Fortress, Grumble Volcano), so if they're going by this pattern, Maka Wuhu will surely be the 3rd track in Lightning before GBA Rainbow Road. Out of all the tracks I really want Lakeside Park, Mushroom City, and Toad's Factory to return the most also.
3:14 The GBA one is most likely because of the pattern. 8 has the SNES one, and 8 has the N64 one, so the next entry should have the GBA one. 8:51 No, it's not. If that was another F8C, it should have nothing. 12:09 Yeah, but that doesn't mean they can't call their next entry as "Mario Kart 9" since we have two sequels to SMK.
I still cannot believe Nintendo brought back Moo Moo Meadows before Toad's Factory. Nothing against MMM, it's a solid Mushroom Cup track, but it's still one of the weakest in the game.
I know this video is about tracks that Nintendo hasn’t brought back yet, but the title feels very clickbaity. We did just get Wave 6 last Winter, so I’d give it time before we get a new entry.
