Now this is the only track from Tour that isn't in MK8 Deluxe's DLC and I'm pretty annoyed. This looks so fun. (Can't judge for myself as I have a shitty phone and I've never played tour)
@@goldroger5085yeah the camera is more close up on tour compared to mkd8, so it was probably fine. I hope the next game can figure out a way to increase the level size and make it work.
Shame this wasn't in the Booster Course Pass. I think it would've been fun if the third lap took you backwards starting at the point where the red and blue paths converge.
@@bencampbell5458 You say this like *multiple* Mario Circuits and Rainbow Roads haven't been added with *similar* names. And how is this course "identical" to piranha plant pipeaway? That course takes us through a sewer, into some underwater anti gravity, and glider that takes us above the damn thing. Meanwhile, this track has us going through tunnels with half pipes, a glider section where we choose which tunnel we go in, and we finish it off with a leap out of the pipe. The only similar thing these tracks have are the names and we've had multiple tracks of the same names in the game. And be grateful we have 1 track that's similar to Luigi and that's Twisted Mansion. Luigi had his chance and he blew it when Peach Gardens and DS Mario Circuit showed up
@@bencampbell5458 Of course they'd be similar in those regards, because they're PIRANHA PLANT TRACKS! There have been multiple tracks in 8 that are damn near identical to eachother! This would be no different, Ben!
@@bencampbell5458 I don’t know what to tell you but literally all those reasons doesn’t make any sense. The whole point of the Booster Course Pass is to bring back every Tour track whether city or nitro so it’s coming back whether you like it or not. It also keeps with the theme of the last 2 waves before it of 4 Tour tracks and 4 retros.
@@bencampbell5458 Possibly but if a BCP 2 would happen, it would mainly just be retros and no Tour tracks which Idk if they’ll do. We’ll have to wait and see for that. Still, we’re more than likely get both of the tracks, if anything they’ll probably treat Piranha Plant Cove like a city track despite being a unlabeled new track and treat Piranha Plant Pipeline as the default nitro track. Makes more sense since we’re getting two nitros and two cities and the Tour files don’t have any more new nitro or city tracks planned with the exception of mobMD which is most likely the last city besides Rome Avanti. And that’s on top of the fact we’re still getting 1 more SNES and Wii track, and 2 more GCN.
@@bencampbell5458 I mean Moonview Highway specifically replaced a new track but it makes sense since only mobMD was the only new track left in the files and it’s supposed to be the last Wave 6 city track besides Rome Avanti. Most likely the other unknown track that Moonview Highway replaced was scrapped or a placeholder so I’m not entirely confident still that they’ll straight up replace another prefix with another besides this one which was an exception. Still really anything can happen but me personally I’m not banking that they’ll replace another prefix.
I hope it's November, America fucked it up with the confusion by saying this holiday instead of winter like everyone else. (Australia said summer lmao) December is pretty much impossible though cause we never had to wait 5 months, the highest was like 4 months and 17 days or something.
This track is seriously so boring and underwhelming. I rly hope we don’t get this in wave 6 DLC. It’s just a bunch of coloured pipes. Piranha plant cove is way better as a new track.
