That "wiggling hallway" at the start of Bowser's Castle looks like something that you'd find in a haunted mansion. Nevertheless, you could catch some nice air time if you go to the far sides of that hallway. As for Rainbow Road, it does indeed take plenty of practice just to do well without falling off of the track. For example, the dash plates at the turns near the end require you to hit them at a certain angle to get a speed boost without falling off-course in the process.
Blooper Ink goes either when you use a Mushroom or when you go over a boost pad. I think it also disappears with a star and Mega Mushroom, but I'm not sure.

I probably start doing the odd few again relatively soon, but I probably won't do it as much as I used to as I've kinda lost interest in pokemon a bit.
@jazzyluvswaka you have to come at least third on the mushroom and flower cup. This will unlock the star cup. Come at least third in that the unlock this cup.
Dude, I made this video a day after the game came out, only the second time I ever played this course. Look at the date of the video before you insult people. I'm much. much better on this course now.
i played it today and yesterday. atm i am number 2 at the 1st track of timetrial (the sand one from special cup) and this one is not that hard on 150cc
