I’ve played Toad’s Factory countless times and I have only just now realized the music always switches to the same part when you exit the factory for the last time on each lap. It always goes directly to the same part of the song no matter where you are in the song, regardless of how long it took you to get to that point in the track. Seriously, go play it yourself or watch videos of people playing it and listen closely to the music when you hit the boost panel launching you out of the factory after the siren section. Mind blown.
@Marc W. Yeah I know, that also happened on my console and there was no bug and it goes swimmingly maybe it’s because the soundtrack plays continuously and when you exit the factory it starts from scratch at each lap. But who cares? It’s fun
That's Mario Kart Wii for ya. I feel like Mario kart wii was the most insane one especially on 150cc with hard bots. But then there was also online **war flashbacks**
I was always afraid of the hall with the red flashing lights since my brother told me staying there too long made your character choke from the gas and I sure as frick was not going to kill a dinosaur that way
I just love the music. I remember playing the Wii back in me old days... having to play with my sister, always having to get 2 player games and having to use split screen all the time, and us arguing over it and having to put it up. I know that sounds bad, but I actually miss small things like that.
thanks for having this video up. Due to injury, I haven't been able to play that game (or pretty much any other console game) for the better half of a decade and yet I was able to live vicariously through your gameplay. :-) All the more important for this course, since I have a certain sentimental attachment to it
I'm so sorry to hear that! I had chronic pain for over a year that stopped me from being able to play anything. Even though I'm better now I'm still far from perfect and can't hold the A button down for a full race lol.
Probably isn't sadly. Dry Dry Ruins probably has a better chance, because it features half pipes and was leaked for mariokart tour, but since there are only 3 tracks remaining, according to the datamines we have, these will probably be: Koopa Cape,DK Summit and Rainbow Road. They are all fan favourites and wii rainbow road would be a perfect end to the dlc,so I don't won't to destroy your hopes, I would love to have this track too,but expect to be disappointed.
I'm in disbelief that this course hasn't been remade in any of the new Mario Kart games. This is a fantastic race track, and it's the second best in Mushroom Cup. I'd much rather have this, than freaking Moo Moo Meadows!
@@aprilfelton6001 Moo Moo Meadows is good yeah, and it's much more interesting and engaging than Moo Moo Farm from MK64. It's just a little underwhelming than Mushroom Gorge.
@@erwannworld9491 hopefully it will be added to the final wave of the Booster Course Pass. I love all 9 MKWii remakes in MK8 Deluxe, and I would love to see them continuing to be remade. Even the ones that are worse than their predecessors are still good enough to play.
Dude the map plus the soundtrack for this track is a banger! I am crossing my fingers it will be in the booster pack. I mean that added mushroom gorge which was another one of my favorite along with this one.
@@o_0yt Well yes, but actually no. In the manuel, it is revealed that the toads are not the bricks we see in game, but actually the question blocks themselves.
Kahleek Gregory lmao once in ds ive counted 3 hit me one for another opponent and i threw two all in the same race, and as for wii i lost count after 5
I think there are 4 blue shells which hit the driver Toad (Small). Not once, but twice and it hit the Driver Mario (Medium) and Donkey Kong (Large) on turn 4. Rosalina Williamson (Large) came this close to catching up to him on the Final Lap in the last round of the VS Mushroom Cup.
Fun fact the music in this track has a small glitch. The beginning of the race starts at the beginning of the loop part and exiting the factory near the end starts the whole song over. Idk how Nintendo realize this but still an amazing track
Would love to see this as a Retro Track in Mario Kart 9 for the Switch with the Factory in Glorious HD, there being an Anti-Gravity Section, an Underwater Section being a Maybe, and a Gliding Exit, not to mention fixing the glitch of the Music Reseting.
pretty sure this track was my first taste of mariokart when i was 5 or so and i played it with my older cousins at their place. i remember being absolute ass, but it was fun and probably led up to my obsessive 200cc addiction today
Anyone gonna mention how for whatever reason, the music in this track is played incorrectly? Like, when you start the race, for some reason the music starts at the 8 second mark rather than the beginning. And even weirder is that when you leave the factory, the music just restarts to the very beginning that wasn’t heard before. Like, there’s an entire section of the song that can’t be heard during normal gameplay because of this, unless you just sat in the same spot the entire race.
Mariokart Wii was the best because the tracks felt like racing through environments. Take coconut mall for example. MK8 has this "artificial" track feel to it.
