I know this is an older post, but I have to ask, where exactly is Mario being rude to Mr. Haskins? These scenes are so brief & when Mario shakes his hand his back is turned. Why the hate? I met Mario in 2009 and he was very nice! And on another positive note, he looks great!

thing is the kids have moved on, he hasnt. he'll talk about sbtb all the time, he'll be trying to set up reunions all the time. its sad, its clingy and desperate and most people dont have the patience to deal with that. I reckon they viewed him as a sad older guy that was always trying to befriend younger people. showing up at that show to surprise tiffani was overly desperate. she rightfully looks uncomfortable when he randomly kisses her at the fallon reunion

Lopez looked like he couldn't care less about Belding. Like, "Get away from me, dude, I co-host a tv show!"

Since Mr. Haskins was an adult and the they were kids it is likely that that how he feels about them/views them is vastly different then they feel about him; he remembers watching them grow up, that means something. More than likely they have moved on and their connection that existed with him is broken... So when he tries to relate to them they feel uncomfortable, they likely can't understand where he is coming from and why. The interesting thing is, as actors one would think that they would be able to hide their feelings better. They, in both instances have made him like he inconvenienced them; and there was no need for that at all, they could have put their game faces on. It would have been the right thing to do.

What's with all the hate on Mario for supposedly dissing Belding? Most of the cast have no love for Dustin Diamond, and with good reason after the book of lies he put out. We can only guess how well Belding and Diamond get along, but if they get along well, that may have something to do with the other cast members being less than welcoming.

It is clear Dennis Haskins is a little overbearing and probably gets on people's nerves with his grandad jokes. I was reading Chris Jerichos biography (wrestler) and he talked about meeting Haskins backstage who then proceeded to follow him around like a love struck teenager.

I think you all are reading way too much into his interaction with Dennis. lol. I think he was just trying to host the video quickly and it's as simple as that. Now with that being said, I wish he showed the rest of the cast behind the scenes too. I don't mind Mario, but I'm (along with many others) more of a Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen fan. They were Saved by the Bell. Can we get more Mario, please? 😉

to his credit, dennis(mr belding) did stick through all the rest of the saved by the bell years with the new casts, so at least he was working strong for a while.

AC Slater was the most biggest jerk in the entire group. I can't believe how petite and small he was in real life. This means the rest of the cast was super tiny. Back then they look like giants.

I don't think the cast wanted Haskins there to begin with. They had a People magazine reunion awhile back and I remember hearing that they agreed to do it on the condition that neither Dustin Diamond or Dennis Haskins were involved. Dennis Haskins was butt hurt about it, but said he didn't know why he was ostracized. But for they seemingly have no love for Haskins.
