Playing as Bowser is one of the best experiences of all Mario games Like dude you're badass but without being edgy, punching, burning, man this is so fun to play
@@64tickbunny44 if you’re talking about boss battles bowers gaint battle count as bosses him they have equal boss fights it’s just 4 of bowsers are gaint
Honestly in my opinion, I loved the final KO punches that Bowser was able to do during the final battle of the game WITHOUT the epic background music. I know that in the remake of this game, the background music still continues until you fully land all your KO punches on Dark Bowser, but in this old game, I just enjoyed ending it all with no music at all, and for me it built up a lot of suspense.
I have so many memories on this game. I remember grinding that stupid Wiggler eating game thing. I remember all those little inside body segments. Fawful was like, the beginning of roasting, he had some badass lines. My favorite boss battles are either Dark Bowser & Fawful, Frost Midbus, or Remastered Dark Star.

@@OrionAltHist I really do agree with that. I couldn't recover from a seemingly cartoonish vibe that I really can't put my finger on. But at least it put the game back in the spotlight!
@@galaxygamer2220 It would be really cool if there was a HD remake collection of the series on Switch, though, or new Mario & Luigi games for that system.
It's strange even though it's a no damage run, it is still odd your forced to take damage in the Super Peach Castle Fight, this is also shared by the 1st giant boss in Dream Team
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, WHAT A GAME. WHAT A GREAT FUCKING GAME. Pristine, timeless, blessed soundtrack, top-tier characters. What the fuck did 2000s kids do to deserve this absolute masterpiece of entertainment??? GOLD, absolute gold.
Games back then: made with love, absolute quality, perfect and immersive story, fun battle mechanics, and unforgettable soundtracks Games now: made with greed, rushed, tons of bugs on release, full with micro transactions and paid passes, boring, extremely forgettable, dogsh*t quality
This game made me realize that Bowser's been holding back against Mario all this time The way you're able to duck under your spikes and counter with a punch literally destroys majority of Mario and Luigi's Offense
this is my favorite RPG gameplay system ever, and is also just generally one of my favorite games ever. Every single boss is so goddamn memorable not only because of their excellent mechanics and gimmicks, but their designs are just so good.
Mine broke. Like, literally. The game must have been in bad condition, because the shell literally became loose and broke off. I had to order a replacement shell, but soon lost the motherboard and couldn’t find it.
@@JobiMorkos Definitely adds fun to it, i wouldn't genuinely enjoy a good story with easy gameplay. When it challenges you, it provides a better feeling when completing a segment or defeating a boss. And sometimes immerses you due to the awesome context it sets you on, i just love everything about it. Gives you the feeling that you must beat the enemy, regardless of how difficult
@@JobiMorkos only 2 things i struggled with as a kid playing this game was with the mini game with eating the big carrot, and the giant bowser fight with the fawful express
Same lmao. My first full play through was a pain in the ass. It took me forever to beat a lot of the easier bosses. Turns out all this trouble was because I kept running away from regular enemy battles, therefore I was extremely under leveled. I beat it at like level 26
MY favourite bosses 22:14-22:37 Midbus #2 51:42-52:25 Blizzard Midbus 1:06:17-1:06:37 Dark Fawful 1:11:05-1:13:14 Dark Bowser & Dark Star Core Fawful 1:16:58 Still my favourite part with Dark bowser when Bowser finish him off! 1:19:25-1:19:28 That's too my favourite part 1:33:07 Bowser X (He vacuuming all of Mario & Luigi's Items)
The fact that the wiggler really thought he could take on bowser after he makes him eat a carrot three times his normal size then doesn't hold up his end of the deal so bowser will be angry will never not be funny to me.
From all of them, excluding the final boss, cause that’s always the best, one of my favorite bosses was Alpha, there was something about it’s design that just made me like it more
Midbus 2 is my favorite fight out of all of the bosses. The cage match setting, along with an actual crowd watching Bowser and Midbus duking it out, made it so intense!
This is gonna be a wordy one: God I love the bosses in this game, easily the best roster with SS as a very close second (only missing out due to not having as much of a progression, the lack of bosses in the second half and way too many Koopaling fights). People talk this game to death so I'll focus on a really mundane thing most won't give a damn about but that I think is cool. While it also handles the amount of Fawful affiliated and unaffiliated bosses pretty well, something I doubt many people focus on that I feel no other ML does as well is the progression of bosses throughout the game. What I mean is that in the first third you're fighting big normal bugs, a living statue, some various microorganisms, a flying castle and a really strong guy. All relatively normal things with no crazy powers, which matches that point in the story where Fawful isn't after the Dark Star yet and it's all about Bowser taking back his castle. Then in the second third with the introduction of the Dark Star and the sages, the bosses start to ramp up. Now you're fighting stuff like a sage bug with all sorts of wacky magic powers and memory copies of the Bros. All things which are really powerful and that I can see beating normal Midbus, whereas in like SS for example you kinda have to gloss over bosses like Mom Piranha and Hermie being stronger than normal Cackletta. And then there's the endgame with peak performance ice-powered Blizzard Midbus, who I can totally see beating the midgame bosses like how they could beat normal him. I personally see him as equal strength to Bowser, with the rest of the bosses being more powerful, and the only reason he beats Midbus and later bosses being because he's just so confident and adrenaline-fueled. And the bosses after Blizzard Midbus clearly trump him. A giant castle robot with flight, black hole cannons, laser towers, invisibility, force fields, robot armies, etc. The Dark Star and Fawful with 50% of the dark power each. I also dig how both of how of these fights feel like phase 1s to their final boss fights. Then the final boss: the Dark Star at 100% power with Bowser's DNA and Fawful as a giant shadow bug monster fused to it's Core, also at 100% power. Like, at least in-universe, just in the endgame we've progressed from peak physical form (with ice steroids) to weakened dark magic users to practically two dark gods stated by the game to be twice as powerful as their previous fights. I just love this game and the rest too for how you can hyperanalyze these little details and it still just makes sense. The normal bosses in the first-third reflecting the more normal nature of the story. The more powerful mostly magic bosses of the second third showing the escalation. And the extremely powerful and constantly escalating in scale bosses of the final third, all of which are either important antagonists or Fawful robots. I have no clue if they thought this deeply about this but it still works regardless and I dig it. tl;dr progression good
Reasons Bowser’s inside story is the best Mario and Luigi game You can play as Bowser and Mario and Luigi Amazing boss fights Amazing villains The giant bowser bosses The final boss music Amazing storyline Awesome exploration Amazing ost
For Dark Bowser, Bowser needs to use Goomba Storm, Shy Guy Squad, Koopa Corps, Bob-Omb Blitz, Magikoopa Mob, and Broggy Bonker. I used all those attacks to defeat Dark Bowser.
1:23:20 oh my god i love this cutscene so much 😢. It was so nice because it was the first game where you can play bowser and he did also so much to kill the dark star and its really sweet that Peach also give Bowser a present.
In the Terminator universe, when they travel back in time to find out when Skynet first became sentient, it will inevitably lead back to this very video.

Has it occured to anybody that a robot might be playing these games? I've never seen anyone do fireflower that fast, much less clicking two buttons at the same time with such speed.
this series is one of the few that you can reasonably beat without getting hit it'll still be hard, but try doing that in pokemon, it's nigh-impossible
I honestly wouldn't have minded if this is where they stopped the series of Mario and Luigi rpg it honestly had the best ending to me. Or made worse enemies then Bowser so he would be forced to work together with our favorite plumbers more often.
@@Evanxbdlt those fights it's required to take damage. For the first midbus fight you don't have the required abbillty to block it and the castle one you can't do anything
