I love the intro cutscenes for each fight, and how in the first one as soon as Luigi sees mario he viably relaxes, nice showing of the bond the mario brothers share.
@@matthewlecompte9730 Yeah its a combo of 3 things, getting used to the fights, knowing mario is there(since his brother is his strength in a sense) and the last one was against boswer, who they've fought a lot by this point.
These battles to me built Luigi’s character. Yeah he’s had games where he’s had to overcome his fear but him growing and literally taking on Bowser himself in his own game of growing giant shows how far he went from being damn near afraid of his first giant battle
@@d3-penguin954 Absolutely, the animations are great, and the bosses have a good variety of attacks, just as Luigi has a good variety of counterattacks. In my opinion the Mario & Luigi RPGs have a greater quality as RPGs than Pokemon (just regarding the main stories, I mean, Mario & doesn't have competitive, hahaha).
Your comment deserves more likes. I hated Earthwake, the first time I was healing all the time, but when I actually dodged all his attack I screamed: "GOODBYE FOREVER!!!" The zeekeeper took me a bit, but Bowser man, I hate more than ever, the damned gyroscope is impossible to maneuver, that is my only weakness, other than that his attacks are so stupid to dodge. I will never finish this game, but I will remember it as a decent game
I just figured out that in the bros spin Luigi tells you which direction you should be spinning the stylus in order to get the strongest attack possible, damn, it shows the level of detail behind the mega battles of dream team
The Giant X bosses are all pushovers compared to the Hard Mode Giant Bosses. Giant Bowser on hard mode is arguably one of the hardest bosses I have ever faced
In Normal Mode, turn limits for the Giant bosses are below : 1. Robo Drilldigger X : 10 2. Mount Pajamaja X : 13 3. Earthawake X : 10 4. Zeekeeper X : 6 5. Bowser X : 6 6. Medley : 40 In Hard Mode, turn limits for the Giant bosses are below : 1. Robo Drilldigger X : 7 2. Mount Pajamaja X : 11 3. Earthawake X : 10 4. Zeekeeper X : 4 5. Bowser X : 6 6. Medley : 41
@@javierplayz2207 You have to clear every giant fight in the battle ring before you can unlock it. It's literally just all the giant fights in a row. It's not easy, especially on hard mode. Haven't tried it on normal yet.
Also bowser isn't wrong or being him when he said "I INVENTED GIANT FIGHTS!" In Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, giant fights actually started then. And who exactly fought? Bowser did as a matter of fact. So he isn't wrong technically when he said that.
Am I the only one who had more trouble fighting Giant Bowser X than Zeekeeper X? Giant Bowser X, especially in the final phase was an nightmare to fight against.
Is very unforgiven, in that battle, you better try not to get damaged, because you only have 6 turns to beat it, and it's best to used them in dealing damage than to heal yourself.
Ideally readd the 2nd Bros. Attack which is the only way to heal Giant Luigi. Without it the Zeekeeper and the Giant Battle Medley are way harder as you can't overlevel, you can't use items and you can't recover health, meaning any mistake has grave consequences in the long term
Basically 3 things: 1- You have godly reaction time. 2- you pray RNG gods that the first 2 circles are the same direction, so that the 3rd one is the opposite. 3- Just pray to have fortune with the third circle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Seriously though, i still think the excellent rating should have requested at least 5 circles instead of 6, that it's just too hard to do consistently. In any case don't feel bad, i've some other people trying it and almost no one can do it consistently.
What I used to do was spin clockwise before the prompt buces counter clockwise only appears once. If I'm wrong I just quickly switch back then continue clockwise
I think it’s just a reference to Bowser himself, remember going giant is something he did in a lot of Mario games like New Super Mario Bros. And the Galaxy games, especially think Sunshine where Kamek didn’t directly help him grow with that one.

It throws me off that you're left-handed cuz I'm right-handed, and therefore am so used to Luigi being on the right and the boss being on the left. This was still cool though.
Wait, but there is an option when you're about to make a new game file that allows you to pick your preferred hand. It didn't force you to use the right side, it depends on what you answer at the start of the game.
Drilldigger was a great boss, he's even better when you remember he's a tutorial. Mount Pajamaja is bad, you're just doing the same thing over and over, pretty annoying. Earthwake is easily the best giant boss, you use everything you know, his attacks are originals polyvalent and fun. Zeekeeper is a close secobd, the idea of having to hit before using your attacks and dealing big damage is cool, his attack are various and fun, and the background is beautiful, unfortunately there's motion control, it's not the worst and can still be fun but can also be annoying. Giant Bowser is... how to say that, he's good, he's good boss, his attacks are not repetitive, the second phase is short but still very fun and to do, there's a motions controls part and it's a PAIN, really hard to control, so where the big problem? well he is hard, too hard, because of this freaking beyblade part, this part is so hard and you'll lose too much, but it's still better than Mount Pajamaja, BUT it's so hard that you'll have to restart the battles, a lot, and not being able to skip the dialogues, the fact that all the attacks come in the same order, which gets extremly annoying at a point, everything becomes so boring, but you still lose because eof the motions controls. This is the problem, the mix of motion control, repetitively order, having to restart everything just to go at the motion controls over and over, the fight being way too long, makes it one of the worst bosses of the game.
I honestly, the only thing I hated about this fights were the motion controls on both zookeeper and bowser’s battles, other than that, these are some of my favorite battles
Weird Jake You know that 3D is disabled during giant Luigi battles, right? 3D only works when the system is upright (or technically, also when the system is upside-down). Tilting the system when 3D is on in this game is also sort of sickening; you’re not missing out on anything.
